From 7-10 o'clock breakfast buffett, from 12 o'clock our restaurant is opened with panorama pavilion and during beautiful weather the terrace.
Good connection to public transportation – 600m away you have rapid-transit railway station, ship and ferry pier, station Festungs-express and Bastei-clamber. In-house parking lots are available sufficiently. In the house are sauna, whirlpool, bicycle rental and a sales exhibition of erzgebirgian folk art. Dogs are welcome.

We would like to invite you to our comfortably furnished apartment (for 2-5 persons) in the village Mittelndorf, located in the Saxon Switzerland. Our village is in close proximity to the spa town Bad Schandau and is ideal starting point for hikes and excursions in the Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland. Here is also a transportation link with the bus, heading towards the large district town Sebnitz and Bad Schandau.

Herzlich willkommen: Im Ferienhaus für 5 Personen oder in der Ferienwohnung für 3 Personen. Sie verbringen Ihre Urlaubstage im Ortsteil Schöna. Dieser liegt im Elbsandsteingebirge, eingebettet von unseren "Hausbergen" der Kaiserkrone und dem Zirkelstein. Der höchste Berg der Sächsischen Schweiz, der große Zschirnstein, befindet sich ebenfalls hier.
Ruhe und Entspannung sind hier Programm. Durch die gute Anbindung an Bus und Bahn erreichen die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten problemlos auch ohne PKW.
Der Malerweg ist einer der schönsten Wanderwege Deutschlands. Etappe 6 dieses Weges verläuft durch unseren Ort.

Die Bewirtung findet leider nach der Schließung nur am Imbißstand statt.

Ein Besuch lohnt sich trotzdem wegen der Nationalpark-Informationsstelle im Eishaus.

Achtung: Seit 2017 werden keine Buchungen für Übernachtungen mehr entgegengenommen.

Die komplett neu sanierte Villa Waldfrieden befindet sich an der Elbe in Schmilka, einem Ortsteil von Bad Schandau, direkt neben dem Bio-Hotel Helvetia. Ein baubiologisch saniertes Denkmal aus der Jahrhundertwende mit prächtigen Holzbalkonen, auf der Sonnenseite der Elbe inmitten einer 2 Hektar großen Parkanlage mit eigener Elbwiese, Strand und mit Blick auf die berühmten Schrammsteine gelegen. Eine Gartenanlage wie an den oberitalienischen Seen mit alten und seltenen Gehölzen, schönen Parkwegen, Ruhebänken, Liegestühlen und alten Zypressen, die abends einen würzigen Duft verbreiten, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die extravaganten Interieurs der Doppelzimmer und Suiten sind das Ergebnis der zahlreichen Reisen der Gastgeber.
