The hotel "Golden Linden" was built newly in the place of a former hunting lodge, that used to be a property of the Thun Family. Its facilities can satisfy even the most demanding costumers. Almost 150 years ago, the "Lichtenhainer Wasserfall" was already one of the earliest famous features of the Sächsische Schweiz (Saxon Switzerland) and was the setting-off point for the first hikers who wandered on the "tourist paths" through this unique, beautiful region. The guesthouse, built in Swiss style in 1852, was, until the beginning of the 20th century, annexed to a chair-lift, pack-animal and guide´s station, so tha, to avoid the "terrible strain" of an ascent to the cow-shed, you could let yourself be carried up in the chair-lift by 2 carriers.

Gut geeignet auch für kleinere Gruppen und befreundete Familien. Die Wohnungen erreichen Sie über einen mit Glas überdachten und auch möblierten Laubengang. Diesen können Sie auch zum Erholen nach den Ausflügen, zum Sonnen und Lesen nutzen uvm. Wanderwege gehen vom Haus los, aber Sie können auch unsere Nationalparkbahn oder den Bus nutzen. In Kürze erreichen Sie die Bastei, Festung Königstein, Burg Hohnstein und Stolpen, den Kurort Rathen, Stadt Wehlen, Bad Schandau an der Elbe. Wir haben reichlich Prospektmaterial ausliegen und beraten Sie gerne bei Ihren Ausflügen. Auf unserem ca. 5000 qm großem Grundstück befindet sich ein großer Grillplatz, das Streichelgehege mit den Kamerunschafen, eine Streuobstwiese, Liegewiese, kleiner Spielplatz, Tischtennis, kleiner Kräutergarten und verschiedene Teesorten uvm.

Damit Sie Ihren Aufenthalt bei uns ganzjährig genießen können, sind natürlich alle Räume beheizt. Direkte Lage am Malerweg. Die Wohnungen haben jeweils einen sep. Eingang. Wir vermieten ganzjährig.

If you like to spend your vacation in the nature and apart from all noise, then you are at the right place. We offer a holiday house for 2-3 persons. Calm, bright and convenient with parking lot in front of the house. From our property you can enjoy a beautiful view into the Elbtal valley with fortress Königstein and Lilienstein. The location is an ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours into Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland.

The Parkhotel, located amidst a grand park next to the Elbe promenade of the idyllic spa Bad Schandau and rich in tradition, is looking forward to your visit. Due to its unique position in the heart of Saxon Switzerland, the hotel is ideal for recreation and relaxation. At the same time it’s the perfect starting point for all of your holiday activities.
The architectural ensemble of the Parkhotel is characterised by two lovingly restored villas and the relocated building of the "Residenz Elbblick". Altogether they form a perfect composition of history and modernity. The in room amenities of the 73 modern rooms include a shower or a bathroom, WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, direct dial telephone and Internet. There is an elevator to every floor.

Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich im Erdgeschoss eines Gehöfts direkt an der Elbe und ist mit ca. 63qm für 2-4 Personen geeignet. Ihnen stehen zur Verfügung, ein Schlafraum mit Doppelbett, ein Wohnraum mit TV und einer Couch, eine Wohnküche mit Essecke, ein Bad mit DU/WC und Wanne. Weiterhin stehen ein Freisitz im Garten des Bauerngehöftes, Parkplätze, Handtücher, Bettwäsche, Endreinigung inklusive bereit. Zur Altstadt benötigen Sie zu Fuss 5min mit Nutzung der Fähre, oder 15min über die alte Elbbrücke. Die letzte Renovierung wurde für unsere Gäste im Jahr 2014 vorgenommen.
