In Saxon Switzerland the hotel Albrechtshof is a good choice for a well and cheap vacation, celebrating or recovering in the calm nature. Very well suited for groups of all kinds. Situated in its own forest park on a light hill in the air health resort Gohrisch the atmosphere is calm and recreative. Königstein and Bad Schandau are both only 3km away. The next larger places are Pirna and Dresden. Use the advantages of Saxon Switzerland with its wonderful look-outs, over 1200 km signposted hiking trails and over 120 sights of baroque which can be seen on a steamboat trip. Or you follow the traces of historical Dresden with its rebuild Church of Our Lady, or get inspired by visiting a performance in the Semper opera or one of the many attractive museums. Of course the modern Dresden is really quite worth a visit as well.

Ein baubiologisch saniertes Denkmal aus der Jahrhundertwende mit prächtigen Holzbalkonen, auf der Sonnenseite der Elbe inmitten einer 2 Hektar großen Parkanlage mit eigener Elbwiese, Strand und mit Blick auf die berühmten Schrammsteine gelegen. Eine Gartenanlage wie an den oberitalienischen Seen mit alten und seltenen Gehölzen, schönen Parkwegen, Ruhebänken, Liegestühlen und alten Zypressen, die abends einen würzigen Duft verbreiten, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das Kirnitzschtal gehört zu den schönsten Tallandschaften im Nationalpark Sächsische Schweiz.
Es führt von Bad Schandau flussaufwärts bis nach Hinterhermsdorf und ins Böhmische, wo die Kirnitzsch entspringt.
Bei uns im Forsthaus sind Sie mittendrin und können direkt vom Hotel aus zu Wanderungen in alle Himmelsrichtungen starten. Der berühmte Malerweg gehört dazu. Mit Wanderbus und Kirnitzschtalbahn, die direkt am Haus halten, gelangen Sie zu vielen weiteren Ausflugszielen und natürlich ins nahe Bad Schandau (ca. 4 km) mit Anschluss an Schiff und Bahn und zu allen anderen Highlights der Region. Ihrem Auto könnten Sie also getrost auch etwas „Urlaub“ gönnen.

The hotel "Golden Linden" was built newly in the place of a former hunting lodge, that used to be a property of the Thun Family. Its facilities can satisfy even the most demanding costumers. Our lately renovated and comfortably furnished mansion Zeissig offers 5 double rooms and 2 vacation homes with balcony. Lain conveniently in calm location, you can experience unique nature, expanded hikes and the romantic mountain world. You can reach us simply by car on the autobahn A17 (exit Pirna – follow hotel route red A to Rathen) and then into direction Neustadt crossing Lohmen, Rathewalde and finally in Waltersdorf turn right down to Rathen. The place is car-free, but for guests with car we have our own parking lot below the house (therefore stop at the prohibition sign).
