The vacation home is convenient and central, situated in the ground level of our house which can be found right behind the hotel "Sigls". Renting possible during the whole year.
When driving on autobahn A17, then take the B172 highway to Bad Schandau (market) and change direction towards Hinterhermsdorf along the river Kirnitzsch until you reach the hotel "Sigls". You are just 300m away from the center (river Elbe).

Die komplett neu sanierte Villa Waldfrieden befindet sich an der Elbe in Schmilka, einem Ortsteil von Bad Schandau, direkt neben dem Bio-Hotel Helvetia. Ein baubiologisch saniertes Denkmal aus der Jahrhundertwende mit prächtigen Holzbalkonen, auf der Sonnenseite der Elbe inmitten einer 2 Hektar großen Parkanlage mit eigener Elbwiese, Strand und mit Blick auf die berühmten Schrammsteine gelegen. Our holiday flat and guestrooms are located in a calm position, near a forest, at the end of the village Prossen.
Our vacation rentals are usually preferred by little groups, families but as well by single travellers. For guests who come by car we have enough parking space available.
Our house also includes a renting service for bikes, cars and minibusses. The ones who favor a more adventurous exploration of the surrounding area we offer four-wheelers for rent.

Our cozy holiday home is located in a quiet but central location between the towns Bad Schandau and Sebnitz, on the ridge between the valleys of the rivers Kirnitzsch and Sebnitz. The location offers opportunities for beautiful long hikes, which start nearby our accomodation. In close proximity is the Panoramaweg trail, running from Bad Schandau through the villages Mittelndorf, Lichtenhain and Saupsdorf, where is also a very popular part of the Malerweg trail. We do rent in the months from April to October. We are looking forward to your visit!

The central, calm situation is perfect for trips to numerous objects of interest, e.g. to the Schrammsteine, to the Bastei or the fortress Königstein… own parking lot at the house.
