Die komplett neu sanierte Villa Waldfrieden befindet sich an der Elbe in Schmilka, einem Ortsteil von Bad Schandau, direkt neben dem Bio-Hotel Helvetia. Ein baubiologisch saniertes Denkmal aus der Jahrhundertwende mit prächtigen Holzbalkonen, auf der Sonnenseite der Elbe inmitten einer 2 Hektar großen Parkanlage mit eigener Elbwiese, Strand und mit Blick auf die berühmten Schrammsteine gelegen. Eine Gartenanlage wie an den oberitalienischen Seen mit alten und seltenen Gehölzen, schönen Parkwegen, Ruhebänken, Liegestühlen und alten Zypressen, die abends einen würzigen Duft verbreiten, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die extravaganten Interieurs der Doppelzimmer und Suiten sind das Ergebnis der zahlreichen Reisen der Gastgeber. Our holiday flat and guestrooms are located in a calm position, near a forest, at the end of the village Prossen.
Our vacation rentals are usually preferred by little groups, families but as well by single travellers. For guests who come by car we have enough parking space available.
Our house also includes a renting service for bikes, cars and minibusses. The ones who favor a more adventurous exploration of the surrounding area we offer four-wheelers for rent.

Die Villa aus den 30er Jahren des vorigen Jahrhunderts war einst das mondäne Wohnhaus des ehemaligen Bürgermeisters Arno Hohlfeld.
Heute sind hier zwei Etagenwohnungen für je bis zu 4 Personen mit dem berühmten "Dolomitenblick" zu den Schrammsteinen. Das stilsichere Haus mit seinen ausladenden überdachten Balkonen und den traditionellen Fensterläden ist umfangreich möbliert mit voll ausgestatteten Küchen, sonnigem Wohnzimmer und separaten Schlafzimmern sowie eingebettet in einen Rosengarten mit Liegewiese und eigenem Elbestrand.

For a active recreation like hiking or climbing, our holiday house is central starting point. The near-by " Toscana thermae" (Wellness bath) in Bad Schandau as well as other recreation offerings are also highly regarded destinies.

Our cozy holiday home is located in a quiet but central location between the towns Bad Schandau and Sebnitz, on the ridge between the valleys of the rivers Kirnitzsch and Sebnitz. The location offers opportunities for beautiful long hikes, which start nearby our accomodation. In close proximity is the Panoramaweg trail, running from Bad Schandau through the villages Mittelndorf, Lichtenhain and Saupsdorf, where is also a very popular part of the Malerweg trail. We do rent in the months from April to October. We are looking forward to your visit!

We offer a comfortable holiday apartment (55 sqm) for 2-4 persons in the district Pfaffendorf of the town Königstein, located in a quiet yet central location. On request we can provide you with a second bedroom. Ideal for organizing a family holiday including excellent hiking opportunities and trips to bigger cities, such as Dresden, Meissen and Prague, which all can be easily reached by car, tram or boat. On cold days, a visit to the thermal baths in the town Bad Schandau is a very nice alternative. Prices: 2 persons 36€, 3 persons 48€, 4 persons 56€
