Our house is directly on the bank of the Elbe in the town Wehlen, calm although central situated and oriented to the south. From our terrace and the vacation rooms you have a fantastic view on the Elbe, the rock formations of the Bastei the famous sandstone area "Weiße Brüche".
For a recreative vacation in Saxon Switzerland we offer you two vacation homes and two appartements for 2 to 3 persons. The two vacation homes are in the 1st floor and the appartements in the top floor of our house.

Our facility is directly located at the Elbe with view on the town Wehlen and the Saxon Switzerland. The house was built in 1868 by a shipowner and an owner of a quarry and was later renovated in 1997.

Our lately renovated and comfortably furnished mansion Zeissig offers 5 double rooms and 2 vacation homes with balcony. Lain conveniently in calm location, you can experience unique nature, expanded hikes and the romantic mountain world. You can reach us simply by car on the autobahn A17 (exit Pirna – follow hotel route red A to Rathen) and then into direction Neustadt crossing Lohmen, Rathewalde and finally in Waltersdorf turn right down to Rathen. The place is car-free, but for guests with car we have our own parking lot below the house (therefore stop at the prohibition sign).

Unser Ferienhof liegt mitten in einer Elbschleife, auf der Höhe, am Fuße des Liliensteins. Der Panoramablick von unseren Terrassen über das Elbtal auf die Festung Königstein, bietet Ihnen ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Hier ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ihre Wanderungen.
Unsere Wohnungen sind hell und freundlich mit massiven Kiefernholzmöbeln eingerichtet. Die Küchenausstattung umfasst Herd, Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine, sowie eine gemütliche Essecke. Die Bäder entsprechen einem modernen sanitären Standart. Jede Wohnung ist mit TV und Telefon ausgestattet.

Well-known destinies like the small Bärenstein, Rauenstein, the health resort Rathen with Bastei and fortress Königstein can be visited in half or full-day trips.
The state capital Dresden, the back country of Saxon Switzerland and the Bielatal valley are comfortably approachable by car, bus or rapid-transit railway. On our large south-oriented balcony you can relax in peace in the evenings.

Beside the range of cultural offers our “triology” of our bio-cuisine, active- and relax programmes will bring you the perfect holiday. Our characteristic framehouse is situated in a cozy, quiet, sunny location and offers an apartment for 2 people (2 additional beds in the bedroom are possible), consisting of a bedroom, a living area with kitchenette, bathroom, toilet, garden and terracce. Pets are welcome (please make announcement in advance). The district Ostrau is located above the town Bad Schandau, in the middle of the Schrammstein area and is therefore an ideal starting point for hikes. After a short walk or bus ride you are in the town Bad Schandau, where further options for destinations are available, like a voyage on the river Elbe, a trip to the Bastei rock formation, a trip to the capital Dresden and many more.

Here between Bad Schandau and Hohnstein are the starting points of the most well-known hiking areas.

From our 3-Star Hotel the Elbe river and the cure promenade can be reached within just 10 minutes by foot. The hotel has 20 double and 1 single rooms with altogether 39 beds. We offer comfortably equipped atmosphere with genuine wood furniture and shower, toilet, telephone, radio, TV and Internet connection (Internet not available in every room).
Please have a seat in our restaurant (70 seats) or in our hunting style decorated winter garden with a wonderful view on the Elbe river. Or enjoy a traditional wine from Meißen or a relaxing beer on our beautiful large sun terrace (60 seats).
