Die komplett neu sanierte Villa Waldfrieden befindet sich an der Elbe in Schmilka, einem Ortsteil von Bad Schandau, direkt neben dem Bio-Hotel Helvetia. Ein baubiologisch saniertes Denkmal aus der Jahrhundertwende mit prächtigen Holzbalkonen, auf der Sonnenseite der Elbe inmitten einer 2 Hektar großen Parkanlage mit eigener Elbwiese, Strand und mit Blick auf die berühmten Schrammsteine gelegen. Eine Gartenanlage wie an den oberitalienischen Seen mit alten und seltenen Gehölzen, schönen Parkwegen, Ruhebänken, Liegestühlen und alten Zypressen, die abends einen würzigen Duft verbreiten, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die extravaganten Interieurs der Doppelzimmer und Suiten sind das Ergebnis der zahlreichen Reisen der Gastgeber. Sie verfügt über ein Wohnzimmer, zwei Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbetten und ein Schlafzimmer mit Einzelbett. Eine komplett eingerichtete Küche mit Cerankochfeld, Einbaukühlschrank mit Gefrierfach und Geschirrspüler, ein Badezimmer mit Acryl-Eckbadewanne, bodenebener Dusche und ein WC. Ein Parkplatz und eine Sitzecke mit Grillmöglichkeit sind auf dem Grundstück vorhanden.
Die Ferienwohnung ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Wander- und Ausflugsziele in die Sächsische und Böhmische Schweiz,dem Zittauer Gebirge, Sachsens schönsten Schlössern, Burgen und Gärten sowie der Kultur- und Kunststadt Dresden mit der Semperoper, dem Grünen Gewölbe, der Gemäldegalerie,dem weltberühmten Zwinger, der Frauenkirche und weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten dieser einmaligen Landschaft.

Guests have been lodging in our Lindenhof hotel in Bad Schandau for more than one hundred years. In 1832, Prince Johann of Saxony visited our hotel for several days.
Ever since the hotel kept its hospitably tradition. Upon arriving you will be delighted by the charm of our familial hotel. All of the 41 rooms - 6 single rooms, 18 double rooms, 9 mansards, 8 superior doublerooms - are arranged in the best of taste and very comfortable.
The in room amenities include a shower, WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, direct dial telephone and a mini-bar. Some double rooms and superior double rooms have got a balcony with a view at the park. On request extra beds are also possible in superior double roms. There is an elevator to every floor.

Our complex is composed of hotel with 18 bedrooms, restaurant with terrace, universal playground for many types of sports, "workout-playground", the biggest playground for children in the city and small hot-dog stand.
Our Hotel is located direct on the cycle track and near of the city center.
Our restaurant offers mostly typical Czech dishes.

Our four apartments have different sizes and either balcony or terrace (guest terrace). The famous walking path "Painter's way" runs almost past the house and so do lots of walking trails and climbing routes, which wait to be discovered by you...

Our facility is directly located at the Elbe with view on the town Wehlen and the Saxon Switzerland. The house was built in 1868 by a shipowner and an owner of a quarry and was later renovated in 1997.

From our 3-Star Hotel the Elbe river and the cure promenade can be reached within just 10 minutes by foot. The hotel has 20 double and 1 single rooms with altogether 39 beds. We offer comfortably equipped atmosphere with genuine wood furniture and shower, toilet, telephone, radio, TV and Internet connection (Internet not available in every room).
Please have a seat in our restaurant (70 seats) or in our hunting style decorated winter garden with a wonderful view on the Elbe river. Or enjoy a traditional wine from Meißen or a relaxing beer on our beautiful large sun terrace (60 seats).
