In its quiet location near the Ottomühle climbing area, it is an ideal base for walks and excursions in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Spend your holiday in this new, comfortable and modern holiday home, which leaves you wanting for nothing. The interior includes a charming gathering room and a playroom for all ages to amuse themselves. For a perfect family holiday, there is a 1,000 m2 garden with play options and rest zones. Bordering the play and lounging area, there is a small stream with the "Natural Barefoot Path" and the option of panning for little gold hunters. Or use the house's own sauna to relax. Our complex is composed of hotel with 18 bedrooms, restaurant with terrace, universal playground for many types of sports, "workout-playground", the biggest playground for children in the city and small hot-dog stand.
Our Hotel is located direct on the cycle track and near of the city center.

Das Kirnitzschtal gehört zu den schönsten Tallandschaften im Nationalpark Sächsische Schweiz.
Es führt von Bad Schandau flussaufwärts bis nach Hinterhermsdorf und ins Böhmische, wo die Kirnitzsch entspringt.
Bei uns im Forsthaus sind Sie mittendrin und können direkt vom Hotel aus zu Wanderungen in alle Himmelsrichtungen starten. Der berühmte Malerweg gehört dazu. Mit Wanderbus und Kirnitzschtalbahn, die direkt am Haus halten, gelangen Sie zu vielen weiteren Ausflugszielen und natürlich ins nahe Bad Schandau (ca. 4 km) mit Anschluss an Schiff und Bahn und zu allen anderen Highlights der Region. Ihrem Auto könnten Sie also getrost auch etwas „Urlaub“ gönnen.

Do you have desire spending your holidays in a barn? We integrated an individual 2 level vacation home carefully into the existing basic fabric. Built with natural materials as plenty as possible, each area is designed and in coordination according to regional structures. The vacation home is brightly, friendly and overall generously proportioned, for friends, pairs and families. Different areas for common activities, games and discussions, or just to withdraw from any stress. In addition there is a play barn with a large sandpit, ping-pong, Dart,… a large meadow with a fire place. From the apartment you have a beautiful view on the Schrammsteine, the Falkenstein… meadows and forest. We would be glad to accommodate you!

Herzlich willkommen: Im Ferienhaus für 5 Personen oder in der Ferienwohnung für 3 Personen. Sie verbringen Ihre Urlaubstage im Ortsteil Schöna. Dieser liegt im Elbsandsteingebirge, eingebettet von unseren "Hausbergen" der Kaiserkrone und dem Zirkelstein. Der höchste Berg der Sächsischen Schweiz, der große Zschirnstein, befindet sich ebenfalls hier.
Ruhe und Entspannung sind hier Programm. Durch die gute Anbindung an Bus und Bahn erreichen die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten problemlos auch ohne PKW.
Der Malerweg ist einer der schönsten Wanderwege Deutschlands. Etappe 6 dieses Weges verläuft durch unseren Ort.

At the base of the Lilienstein at the Elbe, with wonderful view on the fortress, beautiful hiking routes, strewing fruit meadows, sheep, adorable fishing places, campfires, a playground and the famous Elbradweg bike route. For a beautiful time and for recovering after long hikes you find a common room with fire-place, a large kitchen, games area inside the barn for all age groups and a climbing wall.
