Bei uns im Forsthaus sind Sie mittendrin und können direkt vom Hotel aus zu Wanderungen in alle Himmelsrichtungen starten. Der berühmte Malerweg gehört dazu. Mit Wanderbus und Kirnitzschtalbahn, die direkt am Haus halten, gelangen Sie zu vielen weiteren Ausflugszielen und natürlich ins nahe Bad Schandau (ca. 4 km) mit Anschluss an Schiff und Bahn und zu allen anderen Highlights der Region. Welcome to the village Waltersdorf, a borough of the town Bad Schandau. Waltersdorf is located beautifully in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, also known as the Saxon Switzerland.The most popular table mountain of Saxon Switzerland, the Lilienstein, is in close proximity. Likewise alot of other attractions worth visiting are the famous lookout-point Bastei, the health resort Rathen, the Gamrig mountain, the Polenztal valley and of course the town Bad Schandau. For climbing and hiking tours, our house is an ideal starting point.

Our cozy holiday home is located in a quiet but central location between the towns Bad Schandau and Sebnitz, on the ridge between the valleys of the rivers Kirnitzsch and Sebnitz. The location offers opportunities for beautiful long hikes, which start nearby our accomodation. In close proximity is the Panoramaweg trail, running from Bad Schandau through the villages Mittelndorf, Lichtenhain and Saupsdorf, where is also a very popular part of the Malerweg trail. We do rent in the months from April to October. We are looking forward to your visit!
