Our facility is directly located at the Elbe with view on the town Wehlen and the Saxon Switzerland. The house was built in 1868 by a shipowner and an owner of a quarry and was later renovated in 1997.

Almost 150 years ago, the "Lichtenhainer Wasserfall" was already one of the earliest famous features of the Sächsische Schweiz (Saxon Switzerland) and was the setting-off point for the first hikers who wandered on the "tourist paths" through this unique, beautiful region. The guesthouse, built in Swiss style in 1852, was, until the beginning of the 20th century, annexed to a chair-lift, pack-animal and guide´s station, so tha, to avoid the "terrible strain" of an ascent to the cow-shed, you could let yourself be carried up in the chair-lift by 2 carriers.

Our holiday yard is a non-smoker house in a calm and wooded location at the Malerweg hiking route. A cosy terrace with view towards the Papststein is accessible for all guests. For children we have a playground with ping-pong table, sand box, swing, junglegym and chute.
We have double rooms and vacation homes with one or two sleep areas (each with Shower and WC).
Gladly we organize your celebration. The offers in our area reach from hiking and climbing routes, ship trips up to town, castle and castle visitations.

A relaxing holiday in Saxon Switzerland, welcome to the family-run guesthouse in a quiet Zaukental (OL Rathmannsdorf) directly on the forest and yet centrally located, 10 min. to the market place as Schandau, wharf and public. Transportation & shopping. An ideal starting point for hikes. In the delightful landscape of the Elbe Sandstone Mountainss our family-led pension in calm situation lies at the local outskirts of Weißig, framed by Lilienstein, Königstein, Rauenstein and Bastei. Our historical three-sided yard from the year 1890 offers all comfort to you for a calm, recreational and varied stay. Lovingly furnished guest rooms in the country house style with TV, a large breakfast and guest room as well as the guest kitchen are available for you. In the middle of a sea of blooms on our historical farmer garden you can have a wonderful rest and enjoy the view to the Lilienstein.

our pension is in Thürmsdorf at just below of the fortress Königstein. 2 vacation homes are available.
Our small place is an ideal starting point for hikes to the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, as well as for trips to Pirna, Dresden, Meißen,… . Further information can be found on our website.

Our lately renovated and comfortably furnished mansion Zeissig offers 5 double rooms and 2 vacation homes with balcony. Lain conveniently in calm location, you can experience unique nature, expanded hikes and the romantic mountain world. You can reach us simply by car on the autobahn A17 (exit Pirna – follow hotel route red A to Rathen) and then into direction Neustadt crossing Lohmen, Rathewalde and finally in Waltersdorf turn right down to Rathen. The place is car-free, but for guests with car we have our own parking lot below the house (therefore stop at the prohibition sign).
