A relaxing holiday in Saxon Switzerland, welcome to the family-run guesthouse in a quiet Zaukental (OL Rathmannsdorf) directly on the forest and yet centrally located, 10 min. to the market place as Schandau, wharf and public. Transportation & shopping. An ideal starting point for hikes. We would like to invite you to our comfortably furnished apartment (for 2-5 persons) in the village Mittelndorf, located in the Saxon Switzerland. Our village is in close proximity to the spa town Bad Schandau and is ideal starting point for hikes and excursions in the Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland. Here is also a transportation link with the bus, heading towards the large district town Sebnitz and Bad Schandau.

Our 2 stars vacation home is directly at the Elbradweg bike route in Prossen, a very idyllic location in the heart of Saxon Switzerland. It is a central starting point for trips and hikes into the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Enjoy the undisturbed panorama view on the Elbe river directly from the house.
The dwelling is equipped modern and offers with additional beds place for up to 3 persons. Pets are cordially welcome us.

Our characteristic framehouse is situated in a cozy, quiet, sunny location and offers an apartment for 2 people (2 additional beds in the bedroom are possible), consisting of a bedroom, a living area with kitchenette, bathroom, toilet, garden and terracce. Pets are welcome (please make announcement in advance). The district Ostrau is located above the town Bad Schandau, in the middle of the Schrammstein area and is therefore an ideal starting point for hikes. After a short walk or bus ride you are in the town Bad Schandau, where further options for destinations are available, like a voyage on the river Elbe, a trip to the Bastei rock formation, a trip to the capital Dresden and many more.

Conveniently situated in the rock area of the Ochelwände, the Ochelbaude offers a simple overnight accomodation - ideal for students, associations, nature friends - with group meetings, in particular for class trips and holidays spare time. Here between Bad Schandau and Hohnstein are the starting points of the most well-known hiking areas.

Altogether they form a perfect composition of history and modernity. The in room amenities of the 73 modern rooms include a shower or a bathroom, WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, direct dial telephone and Internet. There is an elevator to every floor.

From our 3-Star Hotel the Elbe river and the cure promenade can be reached within just 10 minutes by foot. The hotel has 20 double and 1 single rooms with altogether 39 beds. We offer comfortably equipped atmosphere with genuine wood furniture and shower, toilet, telephone, radio, TV and Internet connection (Internet not available in every room).
Please have a seat in our restaurant (70 seats) or in our hunting style decorated winter garden with a wonderful view on the Elbe river. Or enjoy a traditional wine from Meißen or a relaxing beer on our beautiful large sun terrace (60 seats).
