The next larger places are Pirna and Dresden. Use the advantages of Saxon Switzerland with its wonderful look-outs, over 1200 km signposted hiking trails and over 120 sights of baroque which can be seen on a steamboat trip. Or you follow the traces of historical Dresden with its rebuild Church of Our Lady, or get inspired by visiting a performance in the Semper opera or one of the many attractive museums. Of course the modern Dresden is really quite worth a visit as well.

Die Villa aus den 30er Jahren des vorigen Jahrhunderts war einst das mondäne Wohnhaus des ehemaligen Bürgermeisters Arno Hohlfeld.
Heute sind hier zwei Etagenwohnungen für je bis zu 4 Personen mit dem berühmten "Dolomitenblick" zu den Schrammsteinen. Das stilsichere Haus mit seinen ausladenden überdachten Balkonen und den traditionellen Fensterläden ist umfangreich möbliert mit voll ausgestatteten Küchen, sonnigem Wohnzimmer und separaten Schlafzimmern sowie eingebettet in einen Rosengarten mit Liegewiese und eigenem Elbestrand.

Waltersdorf is located beautifully in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, also known as the Saxon Switzerland.The most popular table mountain of Saxon Switzerland, the Lilienstein, is in close proximity. Likewise alot of other attractions worth visiting are the famous lookout-point Bastei, the health resort Rathen, the Gamrig mountain, the Polenztal valley and of course the town Bad Schandau. For climbing and hiking tours, our house is an ideal starting point.

Our house is situated in a more elevated quarter of Bad Schandau.
We offer one friendly furnished vacation home for 2-3 persons. It is an ideal starting point for hikes into the mountain world of Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland.

Our vacation home is situated air health resort Gohrisch, between Bad Schandau and Königstein on a plateau (300m above sea level) surrounded by forests. Main destinations for hiking are Gohrischstein, Papststein and Pfaffenstein can be reached by foot. Our separate vacations home (48 square meters) is in a calm side street, 3 minutes away from the forest however also close to the local centre. In Gohrisch you will find several good restaurants with a tasteful menu. A parking bay for your car is included on our property. Our Elbsandsteingebirge is worth a journey at each season, we are already looking forward to your visit.
