The interior includes a charming gathering room and a playroom for all ages to amuse themselves. For a perfect family holiday, there is a 1,000 m2 garden with play options and rest zones. Bordering the play and lounging area, there is a small stream with the "Natural Barefoot Path" and the option of panning for little gold hunters. Or use the house's own sauna to relax. In order to enjoy your holiday in peace, there is a small physiotherapeutic repertoire offered. It is just the multifaceted nature of the landscapes which assures that the entire family will never be bored. The walking paths range from easy and flat to very steep and varied for more adventure. The climbs in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains are legendary, leading you along the cliff top, which are equipped with iron ladders and steps.

our pension is in Thürmsdorf at just below of the fortress Königstein. 2 vacation homes are available.
Our small place is an ideal starting point for hikes to the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, as well as for trips to Pirna, Dresden, Meißen,… . Further information can be found on our website.

Our non-smoking apartment offers comfort and relaxation. It is in a quiet area, at ground level and has a separate entrance. With two bedrooms and a kitchen, it is very suitable for both couples and families.
In less than 5 minutes you are in the forest and there are many opportunities for beautiful hikes or short walks around. On the terrace with barbecue and view on the Zschirnstein or at the fireplace you can conclude the (hiking) day comfortably.

Die komplett neu sanierte Villa Waldfrieden befindet sich an der Elbe in Schmilka, einem Ortsteil von Bad Schandau, direkt neben dem Bio-Hotel Helvetia. Die extravaganten Interieurs der Doppelzimmer und Suiten sind das Ergebnis der zahlreichen Reisen der Gastgeber. Das Ferienhaus bietet Ihnen Raum für ganz individuelle Ferien. Es ist Platz für 2-4 Personen. Im Erdgeschoß des Hauses finden sie den Wohnraum mit Kachelofen und Satelliten-TV, eine kleine Küche und das Bad mit Dusche und WC. Im oberen Geschoß ist das Schlafzimmer. Eine sonnige Terrasse mit Sitzecke befindet sich gleich vor der Tür.

Our hotel is situated directly at the slope of the Elbe; wonderful view over the Elbe valley from the Lilienstein to the fortress Königstein. The reception is open day and night. From 7-10 o'clock breakfast buffett, from 12 o'clock our restaurant is opened with panorama pavilion and during beautiful weather the terrace.
Good connection to public transportation – 600m away you have rapid-transit railway station, ship and ferry pier, station Festungs-express and Bastei-clamber. In-house parking lots are available sufficiently. In the house are sauna, whirlpool, bicycle rental and a sales exhibition of erzgebirgian folk art. Dogs are welcome.
