Our house is directly on the bank of the Elbe in the town Wehlen, calm although central situated and oriented to the south. From our terrace and the vacation rooms you have a fantastic view on the Elbe, the rock formations of the Bastei the famous sandstone area "Weiße Brüche".
For a recreative vacation in Saxon Switzerland we offer you two vacation homes and two appartements for 2 to 3 persons. The two vacation homes are in the 1st floor and the appartements in the top floor of our house.

Großer Outdoor-Bereich mit: Fußball, Baketball, Beachvolleyball, Tischtennis, Grill- und Lagerfeuerplatz.

Our house is situated in a central, but calm location. Many hiking destinies can be approached from the house. Almost 150 years ago, the "Lichtenhainer Wasserfall" was already one of the earliest famous features of the Sächsische Schweiz (Saxon Switzerland) and was the setting-off point for the first hikers who wandered on the "tourist paths" through this unique, beautiful region. The guesthouse, built in Swiss style in 1852, was, until the beginning of the 20th century, annexed to a chair-lift, pack-animal and guide´s station, so tha, to avoid the "terrible strain" of an ascent to the cow-shed, you could let yourself be carried up in the chair-lift by 2 carriers.

Our approx. 60 sqm large vacation home is on a calm property in the ground floor and approachable over a separate entrance. The sunny meadow, the small children playground with sand box, chute, swing and the campfire place are particularly well suitable for our guests with children. In the evening you can finish your eventful days on our terrace with BBQ or at the campfire place. You can leave your car on a parking lot at the house. The regional train station Lohmen is about 10 minutes walking away. Pets on request.
