Nur die Straße und der Elberadweg trennt das Grundstück vom eigenen Elbestrand mit Liegewiese und Bootsanlegemöglichkeit. Das StrandHaus bietet Platz für bis zu 7 Personen auf zwei Ebenen, ein überdachter Grillplatz mit rustikalen Holzbänken lädt zu gemütlichen Abenden in geselliger Runde ein.

Almost 150 years ago, the "Lichtenhainer Wasserfall" was already one of the earliest famous features of the Sächsische Schweiz (Saxon Switzerland) and was the setting-off point for the first hikers who wandered on the "tourist paths" through this unique, beautiful region. The guesthouse, built in Swiss style in 1852, was, until the beginning of the 20th century, annexed to a chair-lift, pack-animal and guide´s station, so tha, to avoid the "terrible strain" of an ascent to the cow-shed, you could let yourself be carried up in the chair-lift by 2 carriers.

Inspiriert vom Wald und der Jagd, wo einst Jägermeister und Försterleute wohnten, sind heute komfortable und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtete Hotelapartments für zwei, vier oder sechs Personen. Die frisch renovierten Ferienwohnungen, mit Holzfußböden, ausgesuchtem antiken Mobiliar und Naturlatexschlafsystemen ausgestattet, lassen Sie von der Zeit des 19. Jahrhunderts träumen, als die Maler der Romantik das Elbsandsteingebirge für sich entdeckten. Mitten in der Sächsischen Schweiz und direkt am Malerweg gelegen, verzaubert das historische Ensemble aus Forsthaus, Mühle, Biergarten und Badehaus im Dorfkern von Schmilka, dem besonderen Ortsteil von Bad Schandau.

Our house is directly on the bank of the Elbe in the town Wehlen, calm although central situated and oriented to the south. From our terrace and the vacation rooms you have a fantastic view on the Elbe, the rock formations of the Bastei the famous sandstone area "Weiße Brüche".
For a recreative vacation in Saxon Switzerland we offer you two vacation homes and two appartements for 2 to 3 persons. The two vacation homes are in the 1st floor and the appartements in the top floor of our house.

Die Pension Bauernhaus Vetter ist ein ehemaliges Wohnstallhaus was vollständig und liebevoll rekonstruiert wurde. Das außergewöhnliche Ambiente des Hauses verfügt über 4 Ferienwohnungen und 5 Doppelzimmer. Im Haus befindet sich ein großes Gewölbe mit Kamin was als Aufenthalts- und Frühstücksraum genutzt wird. Auf unseren Hof gibt es Katzen, Mehrschweinchen und Kaninchen. Das Bauernhaus ist ideal als Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Wanderrungen in der Sächsischen Schweiz.
