On request we can provide you with a second bedroom. Ideal for organizing a family holiday including excellent hiking opportunities and trips to bigger cities, such as Dresden, Meissen and Prague, which all can be easily reached by car, tram or boat. Welcome to the village Waltersdorf, a borough of the town Bad Schandau. Waltersdorf is located beautifully in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, also known as the Saxon Switzerland.The most popular table mountain of Saxon Switzerland, the Lilienstein, is in close proximity. Likewise alot of other attractions worth visiting are the famous lookout-point Bastei, the health resort Rathen, the Gamrig mountain, the Polenztal valley and of course the town Bad Schandau. For climbing and hiking tours, our house is an ideal starting point.

The Saxon Switzerland National Park Region is one of the most beautiful and sought after holiday destinations in Germany. In its quiet location near the Ottomühle climbing area, it is an ideal base for walks and excursions in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Spend your holiday in this new, comfortable and modern holiday home, which leaves you wanting for nothing. The interior includes a charming gathering room and a playroom for all ages to amuse themselves. For a perfect family holiday, there is a 1,000 m2 garden with play options and rest zones. Bordering the play and lounging area, there is a small stream with the "Natural Barefoot Path" and the option of panning for little gold hunters. Or use the house's own sauna to relax. In order to enjoy your holiday in peace, there is a small physiotherapeutic repertoire offered. It is just the multifaceted nature of the landscapes which assures that the entire family will never be bored. The walking paths range from easy and flat to very steep and varied for more adventure. The climbs in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains are legendary, leading you along the cliff top, which are equipped with iron ladders and steps.

The family-led land hotel is situated in the municipality Gohrisch. Hiking and groups of seniors are cordially welcome with good discounts on groups. Organization of day schedules, BBQ and much more. Friendly service in our restaurant with fresh regional kitchen. Seasonal change of menu before Easter time (visible on our homepage). On public holidays there will be an additional menu with breakfast buffet and half-board with 3 course meal with 2 choosable main courses. If desired we prepare lunch packets for you.
Our 28 guest rooms are all equipped with Shower/WC, SAT-TV and telephone.

Wir bieten Ihnen eine komfortable Ferienwohnung 70 m² mit separatem Eingang im Erdgeschoss. Außerdem ein kleines Ferienhaus, 36 m² komplett eingerichtet. Zu unserem Ferienobjekt gehört noch ein Bungalow mit 2 getrennten Schlafzimmern, kleiner Küche und Aufenthaltsraum. Das Grundstück befindet sich direkt im romantischen Kirnitzschtal in ruhiger Lage am Wasser und bietet ideale Bedingungen für einen erholsamen Urlaub. Mit der historischen Kirnitzschtalbahn kommen Sie bequem durch das Kirnitzschtal bis zum Lichtenhainer Wasserfall und zu anderen Ausgangspunkten für interessante Wanderungen durch die einzigartige Natur und Felsenwelt. In Bad Schandau haben Sie gute Anbindungen zu allen öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln wie Bus, S-Bahn und Elbschiffahrt. Das Zentrum von Bad Schandau erreichen Sie von uns aus in ca.15 Minuten zu Fuß.
