Die komplett neu sanierte Villa Waldfrieden befindet sich an der Elbe in Schmilka, einem Ortsteil von Bad Schandau, direkt neben dem Bio-Hotel Helvetia. Ein baubiologisch saniertes Denkmal aus der Jahrhundertwende mit prächtigen Holzbalkonen, auf der Sonnenseite der Elbe inmitten einer 2 Hektar großen Parkanlage mit eigener Elbwiese, Strand und mit Blick auf die berühmten Schrammsteine gelegen. Eine Gartenanlage wie an den oberitalienischen Seen mit alten und seltenen Gehölzen, schönen Parkwegen, Ruhebänken, Liegestühlen und alten Zypressen, die abends einen würzigen Duft verbreiten, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Surrounded by nature, Apartmenthaus Saxonia is set in a beautiful historic building just 400 m from the center of Bad Schandau. It a spacious terrace and free wired internet. The country-style apartments come with free WiFi, satellite TV and a living room with sofas. Our holidays yard is a nonsmoker house in calm and green location at the "Malerweg". A cosy terrace with view to the Papststein, a playground for children, ping-pong table, sand box, swing, junglegym and chute are present.
We have double rooms and vacation homes with one or two sleep areas (each with Shower/WC). Gladly we organize your celebration. The offerings in our area reach from hiking and climbing routes, ship trips up to city, castle and fortress visitations.

Saupsdorf, a local part of the municipality Kirnitzschtal, is in the middle of delightful hiking and trip destinies at the base of the Wachberg mountain.
Start your hikes from our house into the back country of Saxon Switzerland and into Bohemian Switzerland. You will be rewarded with wonderful panoramic views on idylic landscapes and bizarre sandstone rocks.

Our hotel is situated directly at the slope of the Elbe; wonderful view over the Elbe valley from the Lilienstein to the fortress Königstein. The reception is open day and night. From 7-10 o'clock breakfast buffett, from 12 o'clock our restaurant is opened with panorama pavilion and during beautiful weather the terrace.
Good connection to public transportation – 600m away you have rapid-transit railway station, ship and ferry pier, station Festungs-express and Bastei-clamber. In-house parking lots are available sufficiently. In the house are sauna, whirlpool, bicycle rental and a sales exhibition of erzgebirgian folk art. Dogs are welcome.

Der direkt vor dem Haus liegende Elberadweg führt Sie dabei auf entspanntem Wege zu sämtlichen Zielen und Abenteuern im Elbsandsteingebirge. Gut zu erreichen sind von hier unter anderem Prag, Dresden, Meißen, Radebeul oder das Osterzgebirge.

Welcome to the village Waltersdorf, a borough of the town Bad Schandau. Waltersdorf is located beautifully in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, also known as the Saxon Switzerland.The most popular table mountain of Saxon Switzerland, the Lilienstein, is in close proximity. Likewise alot of other attractions worth visiting are the famous lookout-point Bastei, the health resort Rathen, the Gamrig mountain, the Polenztal valley and of course the town Bad Schandau. For climbing and hiking tours, our house is an ideal starting point.

The vacation home facing to the south is in the ground floor of our timber building. There is a separate entrance through the garden, where also seatings can be found.
