Purchase possibilities such as butchers, bakers, purchase market (Penny and Lidl) and a restaurant are reachable within few minutes walking. A good connection to the public transportation system with bus, train and the piers ensure fast travelling.
The border to Czech Republic is only 10 km away. Due to the rapid-transit railway station in Bad Schandau you can also easily visit the art city Dresden.

Our vacation homes lies in the center of Saxon Switzerland directly in „Prossner Gründel" valley. The Elbe, the Elbradweg bike route and the sandstone are close and thus invite for sporty activities, (water sport, bike tours, climbing and hiking).

Desire for a vacation with friends? Then you should visit our holiday barn. At the base of the Lilienstein at the Elbe, with wonderful view on the fortress, beautiful hiking routes, strewing fruit meadows, sheep, adorable fishing places, campfires, a playground and the famous Elbradweg bike route. For a beautiful time and for recovering after long hikes you find a common room with fire-place, a large kitchen, games area inside the barn for all age groups and a climbing wall. Im Garten des Hauses bietet sich Ihnen die Möglichkeit auf der Terrasse zu entspannen oder bei gemütlicher Atmosphäre einen Grillabend zu gestalten.
Durch die Aufteilung in jeweils 2 Schlafzimmer bietet sich genug Platz für Paare, kleine Familien oder kleine Gruppen (bis 4 Personen pro FEWO).

Sie planen eine Wanderung oder eine Rundfahrt in Dresden? All das können Sie von Rathmannsdorf aus problemlos realisieren.
In gerade einmal 10 Minuten zu Fuß sind Sie auf den bekanntesten Wanderwegen der Sächsischen Schweiz, wie zum Beispiel dem Malerweg oder dem Kirnitzschtal. Nach Dresden oder Tschechien kommen Sie mit der S-Bahnanbindung, die 15 Minuten Fußweg in Anspruch nimmt.
