Die komplett neu sanierte Villa Waldfrieden befindet sich an der Elbe in Schmilka, einem Ortsteil von Bad Schandau, direkt neben dem Bio-Hotel Helvetia. Ein baubiologisch saniertes Denkmal aus der Jahrhundertwende mit prächtigen Holzbalkonen, auf der Sonnenseite der Elbe inmitten einer 2 Hektar großen Parkanlage mit eigener Elbwiese, Strand und mit Blick auf die berühmten Schrammsteine gelegen. Eine Gartenanlage wie an den oberitalienischen Seen mit alten und seltenen Gehölzen, schönen Parkwegen, Ruhebänken, Liegestühlen und alten Zypressen, die abends einen würzigen Duft verbreiten, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die extravaganten Interieurs der Doppelzimmer und Suiten sind das Ergebnis der zahlreichen Reisen der Gastgeber. In the delightful landscape of the Elbe Sandstone Mountainss our family-led pension in calm situation lies at the local outskirts of Weißig, framed by Lilienstein, Königstein, Rauenstein and Bastei. Our historical three-sided yard from the year 1890 offers all comfort to you for a calm, recreational and varied stay. Lovingly furnished guest rooms in the country house style with TV, a large breakfast and guest room as well as the guest kitchen are available for you. In the middle of a sea of blooms on our historical farmer garden you can have a wonderful rest and enjoy the view to the Lilienstein.

The bungalows and tourist accommodations are simply equipped: bunk beds, table and chairs as well as refrigerator and hot air blower for cold days.
Washing and shower possible, toilets are available in the social building and the sanitary container.
Your caravan can be also left on the stand during the winter months, as there will be daily security checks.

Wir bieten Ihnen 1 Ferienwohnung bis 4 Personen in ruhiger Lage im Grünen . Alle bekannten Wander- und Ausflugsziele der Sächsischen- und Böhmischen Schweiz sind von uns gut erreichbar. Von Bad Schandau haben Sie eine gute S-Bahnanbindung in die Kunststadt Dresden. Eine Anlegestelle der Elbdampfer befindet sich ebenfalls in Bad Schandau.

Several separate units of approx. 100 sqm large and terraced comfort stands with electric hook-ups for 7 caravans. 6 camping tents can be set on the meadow. Modern equipped sanitary building (single baths with shower, WC and washing place) and a summer kitchen are present.
You can use our recreation room on request.

At the outskirts of the national park Saxon Switzerland, directly at the base of the Lilienstein, we offer in very calm situation a Holiday flat (70sqm) for 2-7 persons starting from 80, - €/day. It consists of 2 Doppelzimmer with 2 separate Shower/WC, 2 additional beds possible, 1 living room with radio, TV, telephone, complete kitchen, central heating, terrace with BBQ possibility, parking lot at the house, restaurant 150m away. Holiday flat is very well suitable for family with children or for married couples. Favorable starting point for trips into the Saxon Switzerland, to Dresden it is 40km which takes just 45minutes with rapid-transit railway.

Wir haben das Ferienhaus 2017 komplett saniert. Es bietet Ihnen auf 150 qm alles, was Sie für einen erholsamen Urlaub benötigen und ist ausgestattet für 6 bis 8 Personen. Es verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer und 3 separate Bäder, einem großen Gemeinschaftsraum mit Küche sowie einer urigen Sitzecke am Haus. Grill, Räucherofen und Feuerstelle sind vorhanden.
Das Haus wird nur komplett und ab mindestens 5 Tagen Aufenthalt vermietet (Nichtraucherhaus). Haustiere sind nicht erwünscht. Am Haus befinden sich 3 Parkplätze.

The vacation home facing to the south is in the ground floor of our timber building. There is a separate entrance through the garden, where also seatings can be found.

Our characteristic framehouse is situated in a cozy, quiet, sunny location and offers an apartment for 2 people (2 additional beds in the bedroom are possible), consisting of a bedroom, a living area with kitchenette, bathroom, toilet, garden and terracce. Pets are welcome (please make announcement in advance). The district Ostrau is located above the town Bad Schandau, in the middle of the Schrammstein area and is therefore an ideal starting point for hikes. After a short walk or bus ride you are in the town Bad Schandau, where further options for destinations are available, like a voyage on the river Elbe, a trip to the Bastei rock formation, a trip to the capital Dresden and many more.
