On request we can provide you with a second bedroom. Ideal for organizing a family holiday including excellent hiking opportunities and trips to bigger cities, such as Dresden, Meissen and Prague, which all can be easily reached by car, tram or boat. Our characteristic framehouse is situated in a cozy, quiet, sunny location and offers an apartment for 2 people (2 additional beds in the bedroom are possible), consisting of a bedroom, a living area with kitchenette, bathroom, toilet, garden and terracce. Pets are welcome (please make announcement in advance). The district Ostrau is located above the town Bad Schandau, in the middle of the Schrammstein area and is therefore an ideal starting point for hikes. After a short walk or bus ride you are in the town Bad Schandau, where further options for destinations are available, like a voyage on the river Elbe, a trip to the Bastei rock formation, a trip to the capital Dresden and many more.

Our house is an in calm location at the forest and offers a unique view on the rock world of Saxon Switzerland. Friendly furnished rooms in the cosy ambience await you for a recreative vacation. Our rooms have shower/WC/TV, partly balcony and the apartment roof terrace. Approx. only 8 minutes walking to the Elbe wheer are the piers and rapid-transit railway connection. The art city Dresden can be reached in 35 minutes and the health resort Bad Schandau just after two stops. Bohemian Switzerland can also be approached comfortably with this railway line.
