Nur die Straße und der Elberadweg trennt das Grundstück vom eigenen Elbestrand mit Liegewiese und Bootsanlegemöglichkeit. Das StrandHaus bietet Platz für bis zu 7 Personen auf zwei Ebenen, ein überdachter Grillplatz mit rustikalen Holzbänken lädt zu gemütlichen Abenden in geselliger Runde ein.

Our resort is surrounded by breathtaking nature and poetic sandstone formations. Immerse yourself in a world full of deceleration and well-being. With direct eye contact to the bastion, you can relax at the pool or conquer the barefoot pad.

The wellness area is freely available to you. Not only do we offer you plenty of space to relax and switch off - you can also experience many activities in and around our resort. Children's playgrounds, e-bike rental and the Malerweg are just a stone's throw away. Discover Saxon Switzerland with all its facets. Let yourself be enchanted on the rock stage in Rathen or in the Tom Pauls Theater in Pirna. Climb the largest mountain fortress in Europe in Königstein. Haus Felsengrund retreat centre is situated around 35 km (approx. 22 miles) from Dresden in the quaint village of Rathen with a direct view of the Elbe river and the famous Bastei, landmark and one of the most breathtaking rock formations of “Saxon Switzerland”. Whether you are in search of a retreat centre for your church week(end) away, a holiday resort for yourself and/or your family, a place to organize a workshop or training seminar in, a ‘base camp’ for climbing, cycling or hiking tours or even a peaceful constant to city-hop from.

Our holiday yard is a non-smoker house in a calm and wooded location at the Malerweg hiking route. A cosy terrace with view towards the Papststein is accessible for all guests. For children we have a playground with ping-pong table, sand box, swing, junglegym and chute.
We have double rooms and vacation homes with one or two sleep areas (each with Shower and WC).
Gladly we organize your celebration. The offers in our area reach from hiking and climbing routes, ship trips up to town, castle and castle visitations.

Our house is an in calm location at the forest and offers a unique view on the rock world of Saxon Switzerland. Friendly furnished rooms in the cosy ambience await you for a recreative vacation. Our rooms have shower/WC/TV, partly balcony and the apartment roof terrace. Approx. only 8 minutes walking to the Elbe wheer are the piers and rapid-transit railway connection. The art city Dresden can be reached in 35 minutes and the health resort Bad Schandau just after two stops. Bohemian Switzerland can also be approached comfortably with this railway line.

The vacation home facing to the south is in the ground floor of our timber building. There is a separate entrance through the garden, where also seatings can be found.
