Die komplett neu sanierte Villa Waldfrieden befindet sich an der Elbe in Schmilka, einem Ortsteil von Bad Schandau, direkt neben dem Bio-Hotel Helvetia. Ein baubiologisch saniertes Denkmal aus der Jahrhundertwende mit prächtigen Holzbalkonen, auf der Sonnenseite der Elbe inmitten einer 2 Hektar großen Parkanlage mit eigener Elbwiese, Strand und mit Blick auf die berühmten Schrammsteine gelegen. Eine Gartenanlage wie an den oberitalienischen Seen mit alten und seltenen Gehölzen, schönen Parkwegen, Ruhebänken, Liegestühlen und alten Zypressen, die abends einen würzigen Duft verbreiten, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Our house is situated in a central, but calm location. Many hiking destinies can be approached from the house. A cosy lounge with fire-place (well suitably for family celebrations or groups), a large meadow with pavilion and fire place invite to relax. All rooms are equipped with a mini kitchen. In direct proximity are restaurants, post office, bakers and sauna.

Die Villa aus den 30er Jahren des vorigen Jahrhunderts war einst das mondäne Wohnhaus des ehemaligen Bürgermeisters Arno Hohlfeld.
Heute sind hier zwei Etagenwohnungen für je bis zu 4 Personen mit dem berühmten "Dolomitenblick" zu den Schrammsteinen. Das stilsichere Haus mit seinen ausladenden überdachten Balkonen und den traditionellen Fensterläden ist umfangreich möbliert mit voll ausgestatteten Küchen, sonnigem Wohnzimmer und separaten Schlafzimmern sowie eingebettet in einen Rosengarten mit Liegewiese und eigenem Elbestrand.

In Saxon Switzerland the hotel Albrechtshof is a good choice for a well and cheap vacation, celebrating or recovering in the calm nature. Very well suited for groups of all kinds. Situated in its own forest park on a light hill in the air health resort Gohrisch the atmosphere is calm and recreative. Königstein and Bad Schandau are both only 3km away. The next larger places are Pirna and Dresden. Use the advantages of Saxon Switzerland with its wonderful look-outs, over 1200 km signposted hiking trails and over 120 sights of baroque which can be seen on a steamboat trip. Or you follow the traces of historical Dresden with its rebuild Church of Our Lady, or get inspired by visiting a performance in the Semper opera or one of the many attractive museums. Of course the modern Dresden is really quite worth a visit as well.

Our house in Mittendorf in the municipality Kirnitzschtal is an ideal starting point for walking, climbing and bike tours in the Saxonian and Bohemian Switzerland. Hiking trails starting near our house lead to the Kirnitzschtal, the Lichtenhainer waterfall, to the Kuhstall, the Schrammsteine and the Affensteine. A vacation home and a holiday house with 4 beds each (both 2 bedrooms) can be booked. A daily roll service is possible. We are looking forward to your visit!

We offer a comfortable holiday apartment (55 sqm) for 2-4 persons in the district Pfaffendorf of the town Königstein, located in a quiet yet central location. On request we can provide you with a second bedroom. Ideal for organizing a family holiday including excellent hiking opportunities and trips to bigger cities, such as Dresden, Meissen and Prague, which all can be easily reached by car, tram or boat. On cold days, a visit to the thermal baths in the town Bad Schandau is a very nice alternative. Prices: 2 persons 36€, 3 persons 48€, 4 persons 56€

Our non-smoking apartment offers comfort and relaxation. It is in a quiet area, at ground level and has a separate entrance. With two bedrooms and a kitchen, it is very suitable for both couples and families.
In less than 5 minutes you are in the forest and there are many opportunities for beautiful hikes or short walks around. On the terrace with barbecue and view on the Zschirnstein or at the fireplace you can conclude the (hiking) day comfortably.

Holiday House for 12 people. You can stay here for 77,- Euro per night. Additional costs (electricity, water) depending on consumption.
