At the base of the fortress Königstein (5 minutes.) our place offers real hospitality in a calm situation. The kitchen of the house mixes Saxonian tradition with selected international specialities, which can be enjoyed in the neighboring beer garden. Modern equipped single, double and multi-bed rooms invite also stay for a longer period. A worth visit for the whole family is the nearby mini-golf park.

Distance to the route " Malerweg" already after approximately 7 walking minutes, first panoramic views after 5 minutes. At the base of the Lilienstein at the Elbe, with wonderful view on the fortress, beautiful hiking routes, strewing fruit meadows, sheep, adorable fishing places, campfires, a playground and the famous Elbradweg bike route. For a beautiful time and for recovering after long hikes you find a common room with fire-place, a large kitchen, games area inside the barn for all age groups and a climbing wall. The Saxon Switzerland National Park Region is one of the most beautiful and sought after holiday destinations in Germany. In its quiet location near the Ottomühle climbing area, it is an ideal base for walks and excursions in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Spend your holiday in this new, comfortable and modern holiday home, which leaves you wanting for nothing. The interior includes a charming gathering room and a playroom for all ages to amuse themselves. For a perfect family holiday, there is a 1,000 m2 garden with play options and rest zones. Bordering the play and lounging area, there is a small stream with the "Natural Barefoot Path" and the option of panning for little gold hunters. Or use the house's own sauna to relax. In order to enjoy your holiday in peace, there is a small physiotherapeutic repertoire offered. It is just the multifaceted nature of the landscapes which assures that the entire family will never be bored. The walking paths range from easy and flat to very steep and varied for more adventure. The climbs in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains are legendary, leading you along the cliff top, which are equipped with iron ladders and steps.

Renting possible throughout the whole year. 1 vacation home offers 76 square meter (holidays object 1 per day starting from 68 Euro), 1 dwelling, 2 sleep areas, 4 to 6 persons, sauna (4 Euro per Pers.) 1 vacation home 52 square meter (holidays object 2 per day starting from 44 Euro), 1 dwelling, 1 sleep area, 2 to 4 persons, medical massages and Yoga are possible.

Our characteristic framehouse is situated in a cozy, quiet, sunny location and offers an apartment for 2 people (2 additional beds in the bedroom are possible), consisting of a bedroom, a living area with kitchenette, bathroom, toilet, garden and terracce. Pets are welcome (please make announcement in advance). The district Ostrau is located above the town Bad Schandau, in the middle of the Schrammstein area and is therefore an ideal starting point for hikes. After a short walk or bus ride you are in the town Bad Schandau, where further options for destinations are available, like a voyage on the river Elbe, a trip to the Bastei rock formation, a trip to the capital Dresden and many more.

Our cozy holiday home is located in a quiet but central location between the towns Bad Schandau and Sebnitz, on the ridge between the valleys of the rivers Kirnitzsch and Sebnitz. The location offers opportunities for beautiful long hikes, which start nearby our accomodation. In close proximity is the Panoramaweg trail, running from Bad Schandau through the villages Mittelndorf, Lichtenhain and Saupsdorf, where is also a very popular part of the Malerweg trail. We do rent in the months from April to October. We are looking forward to your visit!
