Our characteristic framehouse is situated in a cozy, quiet, sunny location and offers an apartment for 2 people (2 additional beds in the bedroom are possible), consisting of a bedroom, a living area with kitchenette, bathroom, toilet, garden and terracce. Pets are welcome (please make announcement in advance). The district Ostrau is located above the town Bad Schandau, in the middle of the Schrammstein area and is therefore an ideal starting point for hikes. After a short walk or bus ride you are in the town Bad Schandau, where further options for destinations are available, like a voyage on the river Elbe, a trip to the Bastei rock formation, a trip to the capital Dresden and many more.

Our vacation home was lovingly reconditioned by us. The inviting 50sqm large holiday flat has one separate entrance and can be used by 2 adults and 1 kid. In addition a large dwelling with kitchenette, dinette and lounge, separate bedroom with a bed (180 x 200 cm) and one roll bed (190x 80 cm), as well as a large bath with tub/shower and WC. The dwelling is equipped with radio, television, WLAN, towels and bed linen.
In front of the entrance is a large sheltered terrace, directly at the garden with view to the forest. For the garden 2 sun chairs are available and your car can be parked in the garage.
Baker roll service Monday-Saturday possible. We were certified again in 2007 and received 3 stars.
Minimum are 5 days.

Our house is situated in a more elevated quarter of Bad Schandau.
We offer one friendly furnished vacation home for 2-3 persons. It is an ideal starting point for hikes into the mountain world of Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland.

Almost 150 years ago, the "Lichtenhainer Wasserfall" was already one of the earliest famous features of the Sächsische Schweiz (Saxon Switzerland) and was the setting-off point for the first hikers who wandered on the "tourist paths" through this unique, beautiful region. The guesthouse, built in Swiss style in 1852, was, until the beginning of the 20th century, annexed to a chair-lift, pack-animal and guide´s station, so tha, to avoid the "terrible strain" of an ascent to the cow-shed, you could let yourself be carried up in the chair-lift by 2 carriers.

The family-led land hotel is situated in the municipality Gohrisch. Hiking and groups of seniors are cordially welcome with good discounts on groups. Organization of day schedules, BBQ and much more. Friendly service in our restaurant with fresh regional kitchen. Seasonal change of menu before Easter time (visible on our homepage). On public holidays there will be an additional menu with breakfast buffet and half-board with 3 course meal with 2 choosable main courses. If desired we prepare lunch packets for you.
Our 28 guest rooms are all equipped with Shower/WC, SAT-TV and telephone.

Wir bieten Reitunterricht, Heilpädagogisches Reiten, traditionelles und berittenes Bogenschießen und verschiedene erlebnispädagogische Projekte an. Enjoy the modern, rural flair in our 3 new comfortably furnished holiday apartments. Located in a beautiful setting with a panoramic view on the rocks and landscape, the apartments are best suited for 2-6 persons (13 max.) and range from 70 to 110 sqm. All of them have a large balcony, 2-3 bedrooms and 1-2 sanitary rooms. We put a lot of effort into the high standard of the interior. The rustic vaulted rooms are either used for breakfast or as sleeping space for larger groups. Our village is located in a quiet, sunny spot on a plateau above the river Elbe. Due to its proximity to the town Bad Schandau, popular destinations for trips in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains are well within reach. In our house smoking is strictly prohibited. Internet access and the telephone can be used for a fee.
