In Saxon Switzerland the hotel Albrechtshof is a good choice for a well and cheap vacation, celebrating or recovering in the calm nature. Very well suited for groups of all kinds. Situated in its own forest park on a light hill in the air health resort Gohrisch the atmosphere is calm and recreative. Königstein and Bad Schandau are both only 3km away. The next larger places are Pirna and Dresden. Use the advantages of Saxon Switzerland with its wonderful look-outs, over 1200 km signposted hiking trails and over 120 sights of baroque which can be seen on a steamboat trip. Or you follow the traces of historical Dresden with its rebuild Church of Our Lady, or get inspired by visiting a performance in the Semper opera or one of the many attractive museums. Of course the modern Dresden is really quite worth a visit as well.

Our cosy family-led land hotel with terrace and children's playground, is close to the castles Hohnstein and Stolpen at the Polenztal and the Bastei. Get spoiled by our Saxonian kitchen; particularly the domestic wild specialities and enjoy our comfortable hotel rooms.
The hotel is an ideal starting point for hiking and climbing in Saxon Switzerland, for trips into the art and cultural city Dresden and environment, as well as to Prague.

The bungalows and tourist accommodations are simply equipped: bunk beds, table and chairs as well as refrigerator and hot air blower for cold days.
Washing and shower possible, toilets are available in the social building and the sanitary container.
Your caravan can be also left on the stand during the winter months, as there will be daily security checks.

Our holiday house is characterized by a central, calm setting, a fantastic view and comfortable equipment. Available are apartments for 2 and 2-5 persons, which can be entered separately over a staircase. Lovingly designed in the modern country house style and comfortable equipment, a recreational stay in Elbe Sandstone Mountains is ensured.
The large and small sun terrace in the green garden and the balcony invite with garden furniture and sun couches to stay and relax.

Our house is an in calm location at the forest and offers a unique view on the rock world of Saxon Switzerland. Friendly furnished rooms in the cosy ambience await you for a recreative vacation. Our rooms have shower/WC/TV, partly balcony and the apartment roof terrace. Approx. only 8 minutes walking to the Elbe wheer are the piers and rapid-transit railway connection. The art city Dresden can be reached in 35 minutes and the health resort Bad Schandau just after two stops. Bohemian Switzerland can also be approached comfortably with this railway line.

Well-known destinies like the small Bärenstein, Rauenstein, the health resort Rathen with Bastei and fortress Königstein can be visited in half or full-day trips.
The state capital Dresden, the back country of Saxon Switzerland and the Bielatal valley are comfortably approachable by car, bus or rapid-transit railway. On our large south-oriented balcony you can relax in peace in the evenings.

Desire for a vacation with friends? Then you should visit our holiday barn. At the base of the Lilienstein at the Elbe, with wonderful view on the fortress, beautiful hiking routes, strewing fruit meadows, sheep, adorable fishing places, campfires, a playground and the famous Elbradweg bike route. For a beautiful time and for recovering after long hikes you find a common room with fire-place, a large kitchen, games area inside the barn for all age groups and a climbing wall. The family-led land hotel is situated in the municipality Gohrisch. Hiking and groups of seniors are cordially welcome with good discounts on groups. Organization of day schedules, BBQ and much more. Friendly service in our restaurant with fresh regional kitchen. Seasonal change of menu before Easter time (visible on our homepage). On public holidays there will be an additional menu with breakfast buffet and half-board with 3 course meal with 2 choosable main courses. If desired we prepare lunch packets for you.

Almost 150 years ago, the "Lichtenhainer Wasserfall" was already one of the earliest famous features of the Sächsische Schweiz (Saxon Switzerland) and was the setting-off point for the first hikers who wandered on the "tourist paths" through this unique, beautiful region. The guesthouse, built in Swiss style in 1852, was, until the beginning of the 20th century, annexed to a chair-lift, pack-animal and guide´s station, so tha, to avoid the "terrible strain" of an ascent to the cow-shed, you could let yourself be carried up in the chair-lift by 2 carriers.
