Die komplett neu sanierte Villa Waldfrieden befindet sich an der Elbe in Schmilka, einem Ortsteil von Bad Schandau, direkt neben dem Bio-Hotel Helvetia. Ein baubiologisch saniertes Denkmal aus der Jahrhundertwende mit prächtigen Holzbalkonen, auf der Sonnenseite der Elbe inmitten einer 2 Hektar großen Parkanlage mit eigener Elbwiese, Strand und mit Blick auf die berühmten Schrammsteine gelegen. Eine Gartenanlage wie an den oberitalienischen Seen mit alten und seltenen Gehölzen, schönen Parkwegen, Ruhebänken, Liegestühlen und alten Zypressen, die abends einen würzigen Duft verbreiten, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die extravaganten Interieurs der Doppelzimmer und Suiten sind das Ergebnis der zahlreichen Reisen der Gastgeber. Unsere kleine familiengeführte Frühstückspension befindet sich am Ortsrand von Lichtenhain in einer ruhigen Lage ohne Durchgangsverkehr. Wir verfügen sowohl über Doppel- als auch 3-Bettzimmer, welche sehr komfortabel und gemütlich eingerichtet sind. Von Balkon und Terrasse erwartet unsere Gäste ein unverbauter freier Panoramablick auf die Felslandschaft der Sächsischen Schweiz.
Sie erhalten ein reichhaltiges individuell abgesprochenes Frühstück und können danach ganz entspannt in den Tag starten. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, gemeinschaftlich einen Kühlschrank sowie Wasserkocher und Kaffeemaschine zu nutzen. In unserem großen, gepflegten Garten stehen einige gemütliche Sitzgruppen zum Erholen, Entspannen und Sonnenbaden zur Verfügung.
Das Feriendomizil ist idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in die hintere Sächsische Schweiz. In ca. 25 Minuten erreicht man im wildromantischen Kirnitzschtal den Lichtenhainer Wasserfall mit traditioneller Gaststätte und befindet sich schon mitten im Herzen des Nationalparks Sächsische Schweiz.

Comfortable holiday flats in more calmly, agriculturally used location of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Ideal starting point for hikes to the most beautiful destinies of Saxon Switzerland. Distance to the route " Malerweg" already after approximately 7 walking minutes, first panoramic views after 5 minutes. A free open-air water park with adventure playground, large meadow, football and volleyball court, beer garden and historical land equipment exhibition are present.
Our Holiday flats all have outer terraces with seat and BBQ possibility. In our games room you can choose from Billiard, TT, Dart as well as various board and dice games without charge. We hope you will have a pleasant stay.

Our newly built holiday house is located close to the Malerweg hiking trail, above the romantic valley Kirnitzschtal. The house has 125 square meters of living space, with two floors and 4 bedrooms for 7 persons in total. Outside you can relax on the lawn and the terrace at the house. Moreover we have a garage and additional parking spaces. The location at the edge of the forest guarantees a quiet and relaxing stay. Well-known destinations for hikings and excursions, such as the historical Kirnitzschtalbahn railway running to the Lichtenhainer waterfall and the spa town Bad Schandau, or the Schrammsteine rock formation and the mountain Großer Winterberg can all be easily reached by foot.

Das Haus direkt am Malerweg im Stile der 30er Jahre ist schlicht und rustikal eingerichtet. Mit viel Holz und warmen Farbtönen versprüht die Pension den Charme einer gemütlichen Herberge zum Wandern und Klettern im Elbsandsteingebirge.
Eine Stube mit Kaminofen verbreitet zudem behagliche Baudenstimmung. Auf den Wanderer und Radfahrer warten 10 Zimmer auf drei Etagen. Vom Einbett- über Doppelzimmer bis zum Dreibettzimmer ist es für Einzel- und Gruppenreisende ein begehrtes Quartier in Schmilka, dem besonderen Ortsteil von Bad Schandau.
