On request we can provide you with a second bedroom. Ideal for organizing a family holiday including excellent hiking opportunities and trips to bigger cities, such as Dresden, Meissen and Prague, which all can be easily reached by car, tram or boat. Our quiet apartment is located in an idyllic setting with a boating pond and offers ideal conditions for a relaxed holiday in the Saxon Switzerland National Park. Trips to the Kirnitzschtal valley, the Lichtenhainer waterfall or to the Kuhstall rock arc, just to name a few options, are all highly recommended. Furthermore a trip to the capital city Dresden is also a nice alternative. Nevertheless here you can relax in a “play barn” with table tennis and a swimming pool. Our village has three restaurants, of which one even has with a bowling alley.

The vacation home facing to the south is in the ground floor of our timber building. There is a separate entrance through the garden, where also seatings can be found.

Unser Ferienhaus „Talblick“ liegt auf Sonnenseite, direkt am Waldrand des Hohwaldes. Das 30km² große Waldgebiet bildet die Grenze zwischen dem Tourismusgebiet Sächsische Schweiz und der Oberlausitz. Das wunderschöne Wandergebiet beginnt direkt ab der Unterkunft.
Wer die Ruhe und Schönheit der Natur sucht, ist hier genau richtig, auch mit dem E-Bike (Unterstellmöglichkeit vorhanden) oder dem Familienmitglied Hund.
In unserem Ferienhaus gibt es auch eine kleine Sauna.
Tagestouren mit dem Fahrzeug von einer halben bis einer Stunde führen in die Zentren der Sächsischen- und Böhmischen Schweiz, nach Dresden, Bautzen oder Görlitz.

Das große, sonnig und nahe der Elbe gelegene Ferienhaus mit Blick zu den Schrammsteinen ist die ideale Unterkunft für den Urlaub mit Familie und Freunden, zum Wandern, Radfahren oder einfach nur Relaxen.
Nur die Straße und der Elberadweg trennt das Grundstück vom eigenen Elbestrand mit Liegewiese und Bootsanlegemöglichkeit. Das StrandHaus bietet Platz für bis zu 7 Personen auf zwei Ebenen, ein überdachter Grillplatz mit rustikalen Holzbänken lädt zu gemütlichen Abenden in geselliger Runde ein.

We offer one vacation home and a holiday house in Rathmannsdorf near Bad Schandau in Saxon Switzerland, lain in a calmer but nevertheless central situation.
Purchase possibilities such as butchers, bakers, purchase market (Penny and Lidl) and a restaurant are reachable within few minutes walking. A good connection to the public transportation system with bus, train and the piers ensure fast travelling.
The border to Czech Republic is only 10 km away. Due to the rapid-transit railway station in Bad Schandau you can also easily visit the art city Dresden.

From our 3-Star Hotel the Elbe river and the cure promenade can be reached within just 10 minutes by foot. The hotel has 20 double and 1 single rooms with altogether 39 beds. We offer comfortably equipped atmosphere with genuine wood furniture and shower, toilet, telephone, radio, TV and Internet connection (Internet not available in every room).
Please have a seat in our restaurant (70 seats) or in our hunting style decorated winter garden with a wonderful view on the Elbe river. Or enjoy a traditional wine from Meißen or a relaxing beer on our beautiful large sun terrace (60 seats).
