Welcome to the village Waltersdorf, a borough of the town Bad Schandau. Waltersdorf is located beautifully in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, also known as the Saxon Switzerland.The most popular table mountain of Saxon Switzerland, the Lilienstein, is in close proximity. Likewise alot of other attractions worth visiting are the famous lookout-point Bastei, the health resort Rathen, the Gamrig mountain, the Polenztal valley and of course the town Bad Schandau. For climbing and hiking tours, our house is an ideal starting point.

Our vacation home was lovingly reconditioned by us. The inviting 50sqm large holiday flat has one separate entrance and can be used by 2 adults and 1 kid. In addition a large dwelling with kitchenette, dinette and lounge, separate bedroom with a bed (180 x 200 cm) and one roll bed (190x 80 cm), as well as a large bath with tub/shower and WC. The dwelling is equipped with radio, television, WLAN, towels and bed linen.
In front of the entrance is a large sheltered terrace, directly at the garden with view to the forest. For the garden 2 sun chairs are available and your car can be parked in the garage.
Baker roll service Monday-Saturday possible. We were certified again in 2007 and received 3 stars.

Die komplett neu sanierte Villa Waldfrieden befindet sich an der Elbe in Schmilka, einem Ortsteil von Bad Schandau, direkt neben dem Bio-Hotel Helvetia. Ein baubiologisch saniertes Denkmal aus der Jahrhundertwende mit prächtigen Holzbalkonen, auf der Sonnenseite der Elbe inmitten einer 2 Hektar großen Parkanlage mit eigener Elbwiese, Strand und mit Blick auf die berühmten Schrammsteine gelegen. Eine Gartenanlage wie an den oberitalienischen Seen mit alten und seltenen Gehölzen, schönen Parkwegen, Ruhebänken, Liegestühlen und alten Zypressen, die abends einen würzigen Duft verbreiten, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die extravaganten Interieurs der Doppelzimmer und Suiten sind das Ergebnis der zahlreichen Reisen der Gastgeber. Our comfortably furnished 2 holiday flats with 38 sqm each and part of a monument-protected house offer space for 2-4 persons. Each dwelling has 1 combined apartment/sleep area, apartment kitchen, Shower/WC, central heating, Sat TV, WIFI and Telephone. Additional beds for 5,00 € per person and night possible, all-season renting, parking lot at the house.
Beautiful calm location at the outskirts of the Saxon-Bohemian Switzerland, restaurants and horse riding are in the village. Seats and BBQ place at the house. Enjoy our original Hungarian goulash cooked over open fire? Address me.

At the base of the fortress Königstein (5 minutes.) our place offers real hospitality in a calm situation. The kitchen of the house mixes Saxonian tradition with selected international specialities, which can be enjoyed in the neighboring beer garden. Modern equipped single, double and multi-bed rooms invite also stay for a longer period. A worth visit for the whole family is the nearby mini-golf park.

Visit our idyllic and calm holiday house with mountain view and pure nature. You will relax undisturbed in a separate vacation house with private property. Even your children will love this place, as the holiday house is far from traffic roads.
For a active recreation like hiking or climbing, our holiday house is central starting point. The near-by " Toscana thermae" (Wellness bath) in Bad Schandau as well as other recreation offerings are also highly regarded destinies.

Von Bad Schandau haben Sie eine gute S-Bahnanbindung in die Kunststadt Dresden. Eine Anlegestelle der Elbdampfer befindet sich ebenfalls in Bad Schandau.

From our 3-Star Hotel the Elbe river and the cure promenade can be reached within just 10 minutes by foot. The hotel has 20 double and 1 single rooms with altogether 39 beds. We offer comfortably equipped atmosphere with genuine wood furniture and shower, toilet, telephone, radio, TV and Internet connection (Internet not available in every room).
Please have a seat in our restaurant (70 seats) or in our hunting style decorated winter garden with a wonderful view on the Elbe river. Or enjoy a traditional wine from Meißen or a relaxing beer on our beautiful large sun terrace (60 seats).
