Die Villa aus den 30er Jahren des vorigen Jahrhunderts war einst das mondäne Wohnhaus des ehemaligen Bürgermeisters Arno Hohlfeld.
Heute sind hier zwei Etagenwohnungen für je bis zu 4 Personen mit dem berühmten "Dolomitenblick" zu den Schrammsteinen. Das stilsichere Haus mit seinen ausladenden überdachten Balkonen und den traditionellen Fensterläden ist umfangreich möbliert mit voll ausgestatteten Küchen, sonnigem Wohnzimmer und separaten Schlafzimmern sowie eingebettet in einen Rosengarten mit Liegewiese und eigenem Elbestrand.

Die komplett neu sanierte Villa Waldfrieden befindet sich an der Elbe in Schmilka, einem Ortsteil von Bad Schandau, direkt neben dem Bio-Hotel Helvetia. Ein baubiologisch saniertes Denkmal aus der Jahrhundertwende mit prächtigen Holzbalkonen, auf der Sonnenseite der Elbe inmitten einer 2 Hektar großen Parkanlage mit eigener Elbwiese, Strand und mit Blick auf die berühmten Schrammsteine gelegen. Eine Gartenanlage wie an den oberitalienischen Seen mit alten und seltenen Gehölzen, schönen Parkwegen, Ruhebänken, Liegestühlen und alten Zypressen, die abends einen würzigen Duft verbreiten, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die extravaganten Interieurs der Doppelzimmer und Suiten sind das Ergebnis der zahlreichen Reisen der Gastgeber. Zur Verfügung stehen ein Ferienhaus und eine Ferienwohnung mit je 2 Betten. Bei beiden Objekten wird eine Endreinigung in Höhe von 30€ berechnet.
Unser Grundstück befindet sich in ruhiger Lage und ca. 3km entfernt vom Kurort Bad Schandau. Alle bekannten Wander- und Ausflugsziele sind von uns gut erreichbar.
