Das Kirnitzschtal gehört zu den schönsten Tallandschaften im Nationalpark Sächsische Schweiz.
Es führt von Bad Schandau flussaufwärts bis nach Hinterhermsdorf und ins Böhmische, wo die Kirnitzsch entspringt.
Bei uns im Forsthaus sind Sie mittendrin und können direkt vom Hotel aus zu Wanderungen in alle Himmelsrichtungen starten. Der berühmte Malerweg gehört dazu. Mit Wanderbus und Kirnitzschtalbahn, die direkt am Haus halten, gelangen Sie zu vielen weiteren Ausflugszielen und natürlich ins nahe Bad Schandau (ca. 4 km) mit Anschluss an Schiff und Bahn und zu allen anderen Highlights der Region. Ihrem Auto könnten Sie also getrost auch etwas „Urlaub“ gönnen.

You live in our cosy vacation home with up to 4 persons. Nearby the forest, you can enjoy recreation from the everyday life, with hikes or bike and climbing trips. Our guests get inspired by the unique landscape of the national park and the mountain country of the Lausitz again and again.
We offer you a dwelling with seperate entrance. This includes kitchen, shower with WC and 2 rooms with 2 beds each. You can have breakfast on your terrace, or also a sheltered seat in the garden. We speak german and if desired we can recommend some of the most beautiful hiking destinies in direct environment.

Die komplett neu sanierte Villa Waldfrieden befindet sich an der Elbe in Schmilka, einem Ortsteil von Bad Schandau, direkt neben dem Bio-Hotel Helvetia. The intimate house was restored costly until 2001. You find here modern dwellings with complete comfort. The use of natural wood and stone gives a suitable ambience to the house. A visit of our approx. 3 ha large property with strewing fruit meadows, firs and old trees is a great experience for the kids. Balconies and terraces invite to relax. Even evenings at the campfire are possible. On rainy days or in the winter you will enjoy natatorium and sauna.

In its quiet location near the Ottomühle climbing area, it is an ideal base for walks and excursions in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Wir laden Sie ein in unsere gemütliche Ferienwohnung in Bad Schandau OT Krippen im Herzen der Sächsischen Schweiz.

Krippen liegt auf der anderen Elbseite von Bad Schandau, hat eine gute Verkehrsanbindung mit Bus, Bahn und Fähre. Im Ort befinden sich Gaststätten, Einkaufsmarkt und eine Kegelbahn. Alle bekannten Wander- und Ausflugsziele ins Elbsandsteingebirge sind von uns gut zu erreichen. In die Kunststadt Dresden fahren Sie von Krippen in kurzer Zeit bequem im S-Bahnverkehr. Bis zum Grenzübergang nach Tschechien sind es nur ca.10 km.
