Comfortable holiday flats in more calmly, agriculturally used location of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Ideal starting point for hikes to the most beautiful destinies of Saxon Switzerland. Distance to the route " Malerweg" already after approximately 7 walking minutes, first panoramic views after 5 minutes. A free open-air water park with adventure playground, large meadow, football and volleyball court, beer garden and historical land equipment exhibition are present.
Our Holiday flats all have outer terraces with seat and BBQ possibility. In our games room you can choose from Billiard, TT, Dart as well as various board and dice games without charge. We hope you will have a pleasant stay.

Our hotel is situated directly at the slope of the Elbe; wonderful view over the Elbe valley from the Lilienstein to the fortress Königstein. The reception is open day and night. From 7-10 o'clock breakfast buffett, from 12 o'clock our restaurant is opened with panorama pavilion and during beautiful weather the terrace.
Good connection to public transportation – 600m away you have rapid-transit railway station, ship and ferry pier, station Festungs-express and Bastei-clamber. In-house parking lots are available sufficiently. In the house are sauna, whirlpool, bicycle rental and a sales exhibition of erzgebirgian folk art. Dogs are welcome.

Die komplett neu sanierte Villa Waldfrieden befindet sich an der Elbe in Schmilka, einem Ortsteil von Bad Schandau, direkt neben dem Bio-Hotel Helvetia. Ein baubiologisch saniertes Denkmal aus der Jahrhundertwende mit prächtigen Holzbalkonen, auf der Sonnenseite der Elbe inmitten einer 2 Hektar großen Parkanlage mit eigener Elbwiese, Strand und mit Blick auf die berühmten Schrammsteine gelegen. Eine Gartenanlage wie an den oberitalienischen Seen mit alten und seltenen Gehölzen, schönen Parkwegen, Ruhebänken, Liegestühlen und alten Zypressen, die abends einen würzigen Duft verbreiten, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Genießen Sie romantische Stunden in einem unserer Schäferwagen auf unserem weitläufigen Waldgrundstück, gern auch mit Ihrem Vierbeiner.
Es erwartet Sie eine moderne einfache Ausstattung. (Schlafsack erforderlich, Bettzeug mietbar). In jedem Schäferwagen befinden sich zwei Schlafplätze.
Für Tageswanderer (Forststeig, Malerweg) haben wir in einem separaten Bereich (altes Gewächshaus) einen Biwakplatz (Wanderhütte) zur Übernachtung. In der Wanderhütte gibt es 6 Lagerplätze.

Wir bieten Ihnen modern und komplett eingerichtete Ferienwohnungen, einen urigen und gemütlichen Gemeinschaftsraum mit Kamin und eine zusätzliche komplette moderne Gemeinschaftsküche. Gut geeignet auch für kleinere Gruppen und befreundete Familien. Die Wohnungen erreichen Sie über einen mit Glas überdachten und auch möblierten Laubengang. Diesen können Sie auch zum Erholen nach den Ausflügen, zum Sonnen und Lesen nutzen uvm. Wanderwege gehen vom Haus los, aber Sie können auch unsere Nationalparkbahn oder den Bus nutzen. In Kürze erreichen Sie die Bastei, Festung Königstein, Burg Hohnstein und Stolpen, den Kurort Rathen, Stadt Wehlen, Bad Schandau an der Elbe. Wir haben reichlich Prospektmaterial ausliegen und beraten Sie gerne bei Ihren Ausflügen. Auf unserem ca. 5000 qm großem Grundstück befindet sich ein großer Grillplatz, das Streichelgehege mit den Kamerunschafen, eine Streuobstwiese, Liegewiese, kleiner Spielplatz, Tischtennis, kleiner Kräutergarten und verschiedene Teesorten uvm.

Our newly built holiday house is located close to the Malerweg hiking trail, above the romantic valley Kirnitzschtal. The house has 125 square meters of living space, with two floors and 4 bedrooms for 7 persons in total. Outside you can relax on the lawn and the terrace at the house. Moreover we have a garage and additional parking spaces. The location at the edge of the forest guarantees a quiet and relaxing stay. Well-known destinations for hikings and excursions, such as the historical Kirnitzschtalbahn railway running to the Lichtenhainer waterfall and the spa town Bad Schandau, or the Schrammsteine rock formation and the mountain Großer Winterberg can all be easily reached by foot.

The Parkhotel, located amidst a grand park next to the Elbe promenade of the idyllic spa Bad Schandau and rich in tradition, is looking forward to your visit. You live in our cosy vacation home with up to 4 persons. Nearby the forest, you can enjoy recreation from the everyday life, with hikes or bike and climbing trips. Our guests get inspired by the unique landscape of the national park and the mountain country of the Lausitz again and again.
We offer you a dwelling with seperate entrance. This includes kitchen, shower with WC and 2 rooms with 2 beds each. You can have breakfast on your terrace, or also a sheltered seat in the garden. We speak german and if desired we can recommend some of the most beautiful hiking destinies in direct environment.
