Pirna hat viele Gesichter und unsere Pension Donatus fängt den besonderen Charakter der Stadt ein. Unsere 3-Sterne-Superior-Pension liegt direkt im Herzen der wunderschönen Pirnaer Altstadt in einem historischen und aufwendig sanierten Gebäude aus dem 16. Jahrhundert. In unserem Haus spüren Sie nicht nur die Geschichte Pirnas, sondern nehmen auch aktiv am aufregenden und bunten Treiben der Stadt teil. Dem Pfarrherr zu Putzkau Donatus Lange, der von ca. 1556 bis ca. 1562 Eigentümer des Hauses war, ist es zu verdanken, dass unsere Gäste ihr reichhaltiges Frühstück in einem Raum mit historischen Holzbalkendecken einnehmen können. Da wir in unserer Pension sehr auf Nachhaltigkeit und Regionalität achten, bieten wir unserer Gästen ein regionales Frühstücksbuffet mit hausgemachten Produkten an und sind somit stolze Partner des Vereins "Gutes von Hier".

The hotel "Golden Linden" was built newly in the place of a former hunting lodge, that used to be a property of the Thun Family. Its facilities can satisfy even the most demanding costumers. Welcome to the village Waltersdorf, a borough of the town Bad Schandau. Waltersdorf is located beautifully in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, also known as the Saxon Switzerland.The most popular table mountain of Saxon Switzerland, the Lilienstein, is in close proximity. Likewise alot of other attractions worth visiting are the famous lookout-point Bastei, the health resort Rathen, the Gamrig mountain, the Polenztal valley and of course the town Bad Schandau. For climbing and hiking tours, our house is an ideal starting point.

We invite you to what is probably the most beautiful holiday region in Germany.
Our resort is surrounded by breathtaking nature and poetic sandstone formations. Immerse yourself in a world full of deceleration and well-being. With direct eye contact to the bastion, you can relax at the pool or conquer the barefoot pad.

The wellness area is freely available to you. Not only do we offer you plenty of space to relax and switch off - you can also experience many activities in and around our resort. Children's playgrounds, e-bike rental and the Malerweg are just a stone's throw away. Discover Saxon Switzerland with all its facets. Let yourself be enchanted on the rock stage in Rathen or in the Tom Pauls Theater in Pirna. Climb the largest mountain fortress in Europe in Königstein. In our restaurant you will find excellent food and drinks with the best local ingredients.

The farmhouse is situated directly at the Elbe, at the Elbradweg bike route and close to a train station, thus being an ideal starting point for hikes into the Saxon Switzerland. A nearby water park is only 3 walking minutes away.
