The hotel "Golden Linden" was built newly in the place of a former hunting lodge, that used to be a property of the Thun Family. Its facilities can satisfy even the most demanding costumers. Keine 5 Minuten entfernt befindet sich ein Dorfladen/Imbiss, bei dem Sie ab 06:30 Uhr frische Bäckerbrötchen und vieles mehr kaufen oder auch gemütlich frühstücken können

Welcome to the village Waltersdorf, a borough of the town Bad Schandau. Waltersdorf is located beautifully in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, also known as the Saxon Switzerland.The most popular table mountain of Saxon Switzerland, the Lilienstein, is in close proximity. Likewise alot of other attractions worth visiting are the famous lookout-point Bastei, the health resort Rathen, the Gamrig mountain, the Polenztal valley and of course the town Bad Schandau. For climbing and hiking tours, our house is an ideal starting point.

We will welcome you with a drink and advise you: Whether you would like to explore the stunning rocky landscape in adventurous climbing tours or unhurried promenades, whether you are interested in culture or history or you would like to swim or to ride on horses - we tell you, where you can do it. If desired, we organize in advance tickets for concerts, opera, sports...

Our small resort Thürmsdorf lies close to the fortress Königstein. Our holiday room is ideal for calm and recreative days as well as for many trips into our beautiful Elbe Sandstone Mountains. The Bastei, the rock stage in Rathen and the Schrammsteine are worth a trip.
The cultural cities Dresden and Meißen can be approached fast by car and with the rapid-transit railway.
In our room TV and refrigerator are present. Preparing a small meal is uncomplicated and a small terrace invites for breakfast in the sun.
