Der höchste Berg der Sächsischen Schweiz, der große Zschirnstein, befindet sich ebenfalls hier.
Ruhe und Entspannung sind hier Programm. Durch die gute Anbindung an Bus und Bahn erreichen die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten problemlos auch ohne PKW.
Der Malerweg ist einer der schönsten Wanderwege Deutschlands. Etappe 6 dieses Weges verläuft durch unseren Ort.

Die im Jahr 2017 komplett sanierte Villa beherbergt 5 hochwertig und mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattete Apartments für 2 bis 7 Gäste. Die individuellen Apartments verfügen alle über eine komplett ausgestattete Küche und teilweise über Balkon/ Terrasse, Kamin sowie mehrere Schlafzimmer und Bäder. Renting possible throughout the whole year. 1 vacation home offers 76 square meter (holidays object 1 per day starting from 68 Euro), 1 dwelling, 2 sleep areas, 4 to 6 persons, sauna (4 Euro per Pers.) 1 vacation home 52 square meter (holidays object 2 per day starting from 44 Euro), 1 dwelling, 1 sleep area, 2 to 4 persons, medical massages and Yoga are possible.
