Die komplett neu sanierte Villa Waldfrieden befindet sich an der Elbe in Schmilka, einem Ortsteil von Bad Schandau, direkt neben dem Bio-Hotel Helvetia. Ein baubiologisch saniertes Denkmal aus der Jahrhundertwende mit prächtigen Holzbalkonen, auf der Sonnenseite der Elbe inmitten einer 2 Hektar großen Parkanlage mit eigener Elbwiese, Strand und mit Blick auf die berühmten Schrammsteine gelegen. Eine Gartenanlage wie an den oberitalienischen Seen mit alten und seltenen Gehölzen, schönen Parkwegen, Ruhebänken, Liegestühlen und alten Zypressen, die abends einen würzigen Duft verbreiten, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die extravaganten Interieurs der Doppelzimmer und Suiten sind das Ergebnis der zahlreichen Reisen der Gastgeber. Lain conveniently in calm location, you can experience unique nature, expanded hikes and the romantic mountain world. You can reach us simply by car on the autobahn A17 (exit Pirna – follow hotel route red A to Rathen) and then into direction Neustadt crossing Lohmen, Rathewalde and finally in Waltersdorf turn right down to Rathen. The place is car-free, but for guests with car we have our own parking lot below the house (therefore stop at the prohibition sign).
