Visit our idyllic and calm holiday house with mountain view and pure nature. You will relax undisturbed in a separate vacation house with private property. Even your children will love this place, as the holiday house is far from traffic roads.
For a active recreation like hiking or climbing, our holiday house is central starting point. The near-by " Toscana thermae" (Wellness bath) in Bad Schandau as well as other recreation offerings are also highly regarded destinies.

The farmhouse is situated directly at the Elbe, at the Elbradweg bike route and close to a train station, thus being an ideal starting point for hikes into the Saxon Switzerland. A nearby water park is only 3 walking minutes away.

Our facility is directly located at the Elbe with view on the town Wehlen and the Saxon Switzerland. The house was built in 1868 by a shipowner and an owner of a quarry and was later renovated in 1997.

Our holiday flat and guestrooms are located in a calm position, near a forest, at the end of the village Prossen.
Our vacation rentals are usually preferred by little groups, families but as well by single travellers. For guests who come by car we have enough parking space available.
Our house also includes a renting service for bikes, cars and minibusses. The ones who favor a more adventurous exploration of the surrounding area we offer four-wheelers for rent.

Wo einst Züge hielten, um Menschen auf Reisen zu schicken, beginnt heute eine andere Art von Reise: die in den Urlaub. Das ehemalige Bahnhofsgebäude wurde mit feinem Gespür für Architektur und Stil in 7 exklusive Appartements verwandelt. Hohe Räume, edle Oberflächen und liebevoll erhaltene Originalelemente verschmelzen zu einem harmonischen Gesamtbild. Ein Ort, an dem Geschichte stilvoll neu gedacht wurde. Surrounded by nature, Apartmenthaus Saxonia is set in a beautiful historic building just 400 m from the center of Bad Schandau. It a spacious terrace and free wired internet. Almost 150 years ago, the "Lichtenhainer Wasserfall" was already one of the earliest famous features of the Sächsische Schweiz (Saxon Switzerland) and was the setting-off point for the first hikers who wandered on the "tourist paths" through this unique, beautiful region. The guesthouse, built in Swiss style in 1852, was, until the beginning of the 20th century, annexed to a chair-lift, pack-animal and guide´s station, so tha, to avoid the "terrible strain" of an ascent to the cow-shed, you could let yourself be carried up in the chair-lift by 2 carriers.
