Durch eine kleine ruhige Anliegerstraße von unserem kleinen Landschlösschen getrennt, liegt unser Buntes Haus unterhalb der alten Steinbrüche und des Steinbrecher-Wanderweges. Die Farben sprechen von Lebenslust und Kreativität. Die Formen erzählen Bewegung. Hier sind Sie richtig, wenn Sie eine oder auch mehrere Nächte bleiben wollen. Nur die Straße und der Elberadweg trennt das Grundstück vom eigenen Elbestrand mit Liegewiese und Bootsanlegemöglichkeit. Das StrandHaus bietet Platz für bis zu 7 Personen auf zwei Ebenen, ein überdachter Grillplatz mit rustikalen Holzbänken lädt zu gemütlichen Abenden in geselliger Runde ein.

Guests have been lodging in our Lindenhof hotel in Bad Schandau for more than one hundred years. In 1832, Prince Johann of Saxony visited our hotel for several days.
Ever since the hotel kept its hospitably tradition. Upon arriving you will be delighted by the charm of our familial hotel. All of the 41 rooms - 6 single rooms, 18 double rooms, 9 mansards, 8 superior doublerooms - are arranged in the best of taste and very comfortable.
The in room amenities include a shower, WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, direct dial telephone and a mini-bar. Some double rooms and superior double rooms have got a balcony with a view at the park. On request extra beds are also possible in superior double roms. There is an elevator to every floor.

Das Kirnitzschtal gehört zu den schönsten Tallandschaften im Nationalpark Sächsische Schweiz.
Es führt von Bad Schandau flussaufwärts bis nach Hinterhermsdorf und ins Böhmische, wo die Kirnitzsch entspringt.
Bei uns im Forsthaus sind Sie mittendrin und können direkt vom Hotel aus zu Wanderungen in alle Himmelsrichtungen starten. Der berühmte Malerweg gehört dazu. Mit Wanderbus und Kirnitzschtalbahn, die direkt am Haus halten, gelangen Sie zu vielen weiteren Ausflugszielen und natürlich ins nahe Bad Schandau (ca. 4 km) mit Anschluss an Schiff und Bahn und zu allen anderen Highlights der Region. Ihrem Auto könnten Sie also getrost auch etwas „Urlaub“ gönnen.
