Conveniently situated in the rock area of the Ochelwände, the Ochelbaude offers a simple overnight accomodation - ideal for students, associations, nature friends - with group meetings, in particular for class trips and holidays spare time. Here between Bad Schandau and Hohnstein are the starting points of the most well-known hiking areas.

Our newly built holiday house is located close to the Malerweg hiking trail, above the romantic valley Kirnitzschtal. The house has 125 square meters of living space, with two floors and 4 bedrooms for 7 persons in total. Outside you can relax on the lawn and the terrace at the house. Moreover we have a garage and additional parking spaces. The location at the edge of the forest guarantees a quiet and relaxing stay. Well-known destinations for hikings and excursions, such as the historical Kirnitzschtalbahn railway running to the Lichtenhainer waterfall and the spa town Bad Schandau, or the Schrammsteine rock formation and the mountain Großer Winterberg can all be easily reached by foot.

Built in the year 1797, affectionately reorganized through the last years still family-run since a long time. 2 completely, modern furnished vacation homes are waiting for you and invite to relaxe on the large sun terrace with BBQ fire-place. We offer you a dwelling with seperate entrance. This includes kitchen, shower with WC and 2 rooms with 2 beds each. You can have breakfast on your terrace, or also a sheltered seat in the garden. We speak german and if desired we can recommend some of the most beautiful hiking destinies in direct environment.

Genießen Sie romantische Stunden in einem unserer Schäferwagen auf unserem weitläufigen Waldgrundstück, gern auch mit Ihrem Vierbeiner.
Es erwartet Sie eine moderne einfache Ausstattung. (Schlafsack erforderlich, Bettzeug mietbar). In jedem Schäferwagen befinden sich zwei Schlafplätze.
Für Tageswanderer (Forststeig, Malerweg) haben wir in einem separaten Bereich (altes Gewächshaus) einen Biwakplatz (Wanderhütte) zur Übernachtung. In der Wanderhütte gibt es 6 Lagerplätze.

Wir laden Sie herzlich ein in unsere Ferienwohnung nach Prossen an der Elbe in der Sächsischen Schweiz. Unsere Ferienwohnung liegt am Elberadweg, am Fuße des Lilienstein. Prossen ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt zu allen bekannten Wander- und Ausflugszielen.
Der Kurort Bad Schandau ist ca. 3km von uns entfernt. Genießen Sie die Natur- und Felsenlandschaft der Sächsischen Schweiz, oder erleben Sie bei einer Dampferfahrt das Elbtal. Der Elberadweg bietet auch viele Möglichkeiten für Radtouren, auch bis in die Böhmische Schweiz.
