The Parkhotel, located amidst a grand park next to the Elbe promenade of the idyllic spa Bad Schandau and rich in tradition, is looking forward to your visit. Due to its unique position in the heart of Saxon Switzerland, the hotel is ideal for recreation and relaxation. At the same time it’s the perfect starting point for all of your holiday activities.
The architectural ensemble of the Parkhotel is characterised by two lovingly restored villas and the relocated building of the "Residenz Elbblick". Altogether they form a perfect composition of history and modernity. The in room amenities of the 73 modern rooms include a shower or a bathroom, WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, direct dial telephone and Internet. There is an elevator to every floor.

Die komplett neu sanierte Villa Waldfrieden befindet sich an der Elbe in Schmilka, einem Ortsteil von Bad Schandau, direkt neben dem Bio-Hotel Helvetia. Ein baubiologisch saniertes Denkmal aus der Jahrhundertwende mit prächtigen Holzbalkonen, auf der Sonnenseite der Elbe inmitten einer 2 Hektar großen Parkanlage mit eigener Elbwiese, Strand und mit Blick auf die berühmten Schrammsteine gelegen. Eine Gartenanlage wie an den oberitalienischen Seen mit alten und seltenen Gehölzen, schönen Parkwegen, Ruhebänken, Liegestühlen und alten Zypressen, die abends einen würzigen Duft verbreiten, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die extravaganten Interieurs der Doppelzimmer und Suiten sind das Ergebnis der zahlreichen Reisen der Gastgeber. Vom Haus können Sie direkt loswandern - die Rathener Felsen sowie den imposanten Lilienstein erreichen Sie in wenigen Minuten.

We offer accommodation in cosy rooms for up to 60 guests: Everything with bath, shower/WC, TV and telephone - partially with balcony/terrace.

Our house is directly on the bank of the Elbe in the town Wehlen, calm although central situated and oriented to the south. From our terrace and the vacation rooms you have a fantastic view on the Elbe, the rock formations of the Bastei the famous sandstone area "Weiße Brüche".
For a recreative vacation in Saxon Switzerland we offer you two vacation homes and two appartements for 2 to 3 persons. The two vacation homes are in the 1st floor and the appartements in the top floor of our house.

Unser Haus befindet sich am Ortseingang von Bad Schandau. Hier bieten wir Ihnen zwei gemütliche, modern ausgestattete Ferienwohnungen mit je 4 Betten und einer Aufbettung, mit Balkon und Elbblick in der ersten bzw. zweiten Etage.
Unser Haus liegt an der Elbpromenade und dem sehr beliebten Elbradweg.
Bis zum Zentrum, Dampferanlegestelle, Bahnhof und Toskana Therme sind es circa 10-15 Minuten Fußweg.
Alle bekannten Wander- und Ausflugsziele sind von uns gut erreichbar - auch ganz bequem mit der S-Bahn.

Das Hotel im Grünen verbindet Erlebnis und Entspannung gleichermaßen. Hier im Herzen der Sächsischen Schweiz finden sich jede Menge Gründe für Wanderungen oder Fahrradtouren entlang des Elberadwegs. Die Grundmühle dient dabei als idealer Ausgangspunkt. Zudem können Sie als Gast unseres Hauses die umliegenden öVPN kostenlos nutzen. Zur Erholung bietet Ihnen das Hotel zudem noch eine original finnische Sauna.

Our holiday yard is a non-smoker house in a calm and wooded location at the Malerweg hiking route. A cosy terrace with view towards the Papststein is accessible for all guests. For children we have a playground with ping-pong table, sand box, swing, junglegym and chute.
We have double rooms and vacation homes with one or two sleep areas (each with Shower and WC).
Gladly we organize your celebration. The offers in our area reach from hiking and climbing routes, ship trips up to town, castle and castle visitations.

The state capital Dresden, the back country of Saxon Switzerland and the Bielatal valley are comfortably approachable by car, bus or rapid-transit railway. On our large south-oriented balcony you can relax in peace in the evenings.
