Our house is directly on the bank of the Elbe in the town Wehlen, calm although central situated and oriented to the south. From our terrace and the vacation rooms you have a fantastic view on the Elbe, the rock formations of the Bastei the famous sandstone area "Weiße Brüche".
For a recreative vacation in Saxon Switzerland we offer you two vacation homes and two appartements for 2 to 3 persons. The two vacation homes are in the 1st floor and the appartements in the top floor of our house.

Our house is located in a central yet very quiet location in the town Wehlen. Shopping possibilities and the steamboat pier can be reached within 3-5 min by walking. The apartments are located on the first floor, equipped in a comfortable and contemporary design and rated with 3 stars. The larger apartment has a balcony with a nice view on the landscape. Guests taking the smaller apartment are allowed to use the seats in our garden. The house is located in a quiet residential street where the kids can play around the house safely.

Unsere familienfreundliche Ferienwohnung befindet sich im wunderschönen Hinterhermsdorf. Sie ist 80qm groß hat ein Wohnraum mit TV, Wohnküche, Sanitärberich mit Wanne und WC und zwei Schlafräume mit je 3 Betten.
Im Außenbereich stehen ihnen eine Liegewiese, Grillecke, Schaukel und Sandkasten zur Verfügung.
Unsere Umgebung eignet sich hervorragend zum Wandern.
Zwei Wanderübergänge zur benachbarten Böhmischen Schweiz ermöglichen es, diesen Teil des Elbsandsteingebirges zu erwandern.
Eine besondere Attraktion ist eine Bootsfahrt auf der wildromantischen Obere-Schleuse-Klamm.

Start your hikes from our house into the back country of Saxon Switzerland and into Bohemian Switzerland. You will be rewarded with wonderful panoramic views on idylic landscapes and bizarre sandstone rocks.

Die komplett neu sanierte Villa Waldfrieden befindet sich an der Elbe in Schmilka, einem Ortsteil von Bad Schandau, direkt neben dem Bio-Hotel Helvetia. Ein baubiologisch saniertes Denkmal aus der Jahrhundertwende mit prächtigen Holzbalkonen, auf der Sonnenseite der Elbe inmitten einer 2 Hektar großen Parkanlage mit eigener Elbwiese, Strand und mit Blick auf die berühmten Schrammsteine gelegen. Our facility is directly located at the Elbe with view on the town Wehlen and the Saxon Switzerland. The house was built in 1868 by a shipowner and an owner of a quarry and was later renovated in 1997.
