Welcome to the village Waltersdorf, a borough of the town Bad Schandau. Waltersdorf is located beautifully in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, also known as the Saxon Switzerland.The most popular table mountain of Saxon Switzerland, the Lilienstein, is in close proximity. Likewise alot of other attractions worth visiting are the famous lookout-point Bastei, the health resort Rathen, the Gamrig mountain, the Polenztal valley and of course the town Bad Schandau. For climbing and hiking tours, our house is an ideal starting point.

Our comfortably furnished 2 holiday flats with 38 sqm each and part of a monument-protected house offer space for 2-4 persons. Each dwelling has 1 combined apartment/sleep area, apartment kitchen, Shower/WC, central heating, Sat TV, WIFI and Telephone. Additional beds for 5,00 € per person and night possible, all-season renting, parking lot at the house.
Beautiful calm location at the outskirts of the Saxon-Bohemian Switzerland, restaurants and horse riding are in the village. Seats and BBQ place at the house. Enjoy our original Hungarian goulash cooked over open fire? Address me.

Do you have desire spending your holidays in a barn? We integrated an individual 2 level vacation home carefully into the existing basic fabric. Built with natural materials as plenty as possible, each area is designed and in coordination according to regional structures. The vacation home is brightly, friendly and overall generously proportioned, for friends, pairs and families. Different areas for common activities, games and discussions, or just to withdraw from any stress. In addition there is a play barn with a large sandpit, ping-pong, Dart,… a large meadow with a fire place. From the apartment you have a beautiful view on the Schrammsteine, the Falkenstein… meadows and forest. We would be glad to accommodate you!

You live in our cosy vacation home with up to 4 persons. Nearby the forest, you can enjoy recreation from the everyday life, with hikes or bike and climbing trips. Our guests get inspired by the unique landscape of the national park and the mountain country of the Lausitz again and again.
We offer you a dwelling with seperate entrance. This includes kitchen, shower with WC and 2 rooms with 2 beds each. You can have breakfast on your terrace, or also a sheltered seat in the garden. We speak german and if desired we can recommend some of the most beautiful hiking destinies in direct environment.

Our hotel is situated directly at the slope of the Elbe; wonderful view over the Elbe valley from the Lilienstein to the fortress Königstein. The reception is open day and night. From 7-10 o'clock breakfast buffett, from 12 o'clock our restaurant is opened with panorama pavilion and during beautiful weather the terrace.
Good connection to public transportation – 600m away you have rapid-transit railway station, ship and ferry pier, station Festungs-express and Bastei-clamber. In-house parking lots are available sufficiently. In the house are sauna, whirlpool, bicycle rental and a sales exhibition of erzgebirgian folk art. Dogs are welcome.

The hotel "Golden Linden" was built newly in the place of a former hunting lodge, that used to be a property of the Thun Family. Its facilities can satisfy even the most demanding costumers. Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich im Erdgeschoss eines Gehöfts direkt an der Elbe und ist mit ca. 63qm für 2-4 Personen geeignet. Ihnen stehen zur Verfügung, ein Schlafraum mit Doppelbett, ein Wohnraum mit TV und einer Couch, eine Wohnküche mit Essecke, ein Bad mit DU/WC und Wanne. Weiterhin stehen ein Freisitz im Garten des Bauerngehöftes, Parkplätze, Handtücher, Bettwäsche, Endreinigung inklusive bereit. Zur Altstadt benötigen Sie zu Fuss 5min mit Nutzung der Fähre, oder 15min über die alte Elbbrücke. Die letzte Renovierung wurde für unsere Gäste im Jahr 2014 vorgenommen.

Die komplett neu sanierte Villa Waldfrieden befindet sich an der Elbe in Schmilka, einem Ortsteil von Bad Schandau, direkt neben dem Bio-Hotel Helvetia. Ein baubiologisch saniertes Denkmal aus der Jahrhundertwende mit prächtigen Holzbalkonen, auf der Sonnenseite der Elbe inmitten einer 2 Hektar großen Parkanlage mit eigener Elbwiese, Strand und mit Blick auf die berühmten Schrammsteine gelegen. Eine Gartenanlage wie an den oberitalienischen Seen mit alten und seltenen Gehölzen, schönen Parkwegen, Ruhebänken, Liegestühlen und alten Zypressen, die abends einen würzigen Duft verbreiten, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die extravaganten Interieurs der Doppelzimmer und Suiten sind das Ergebnis der zahlreichen Reisen der Gastgeber. Saupsdorf is situated at the outskirts of Saxon Switzerland and very calm, convenient and offers perfect recreation. It is a very good starting point for hikes into the Saxonian and also Bohemian Switzerland. Moreover our state capital Dresden can be approached in 50 km and it is just 18km to the health resort Bad Schandau.
Our vacation home is in the middle of the village, but not directly lain at the road.
It is in the ground floor with seperate entrance.
