Von hier aus seht ihr den Lilienstein, die Festung Königstein und die Bastei.
Ihr übernachtet im unsaniertem ehemaligen Ferienlager im DDR-Charme mit Mehrbettzimmern und Gemeinschaftssanitäranlagen, könnt aber auch die schickeren Tinyhäuser oder eine urige einfache Berghütte oder das ganze Gelände mit Zeltplatz mieten.

Die komplett neu sanierte Villa Waldfrieden befindet sich an der Elbe in Schmilka, einem Ortsteil von Bad Schandau, direkt neben dem Bio-Hotel Helvetia. Ein baubiologisch saniertes Denkmal aus der Jahrhundertwende mit prächtigen Holzbalkonen, auf der Sonnenseite der Elbe inmitten einer 2 Hektar großen Parkanlage mit eigener Elbwiese, Strand und mit Blick auf die berühmten Schrammsteine gelegen. Eine Gartenanlage wie an den oberitalienischen Seen mit alten und seltenen Gehölzen, schönen Parkwegen, Ruhebänken, Liegestühlen und alten Zypressen, die abends einen würzigen Duft verbreiten, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die extravaganten Interieurs der Doppelzimmer und Suiten sind das Ergebnis der zahlreichen Reisen der Gastgeber. Every single part of your suite: we’ve got it all wrapped up.

The vacation home facing to the south is in the ground floor of our timber building. There is a separate entrance through the garden, where also seatings can be found.

From our 3-Star Hotel the Elbe river and the cure promenade can be reached within just 10 minutes by foot. The hotel has 20 double and 1 single rooms with altogether 39 beds. We offer comfortably equipped atmosphere with genuine wood furniture and shower, toilet, telephone, radio, TV and Internet connection (Internet not available in every room).
Please have a seat in our restaurant (70 seats) or in our hunting style decorated winter garden with a wonderful view on the Elbe river. Or enjoy a traditional wine from Meißen or a relaxing beer on our beautiful large sun terrace (60 seats).

Unsere individuell und komplett neu ausgestattete Ferienwohnung (50 qm) für 2 Personen (Aufbettung über Schlafcouch möglich) befindet sich im Erdgeschoss mit separatem Eingang, umgeben von viel Grün und Blick auf die umliegenden Tafelberge.
Für weitere zwei Personen steht in der oberen Etage (+25qm) des Hauses (über eine Innentreppe erreichbar) ein weiteres Schlafzimmer sowie ein größeres Bad mit WC, Wanne und Dusche zur Verfügung.
Unsere Ferienwohnung befindet sich direkt am Malerweg.

WALTERSDORF is situated in the heart of Sächsische Schweiz National Park. From here you can easily wander to many landmarks of the National Park like: the BASTEI, the town KURORT RATHEN, LILIENSTEIN, KÖNIGSTEIN, as well as to the beautiful valley of the river POLENZ.
Each of our four apartments are equipped with: a small kitchen, private bath, and satellite TV. Each unit also has an outdoor sitting area (patio or gazebo). Courtyard parking is included.
You are also invited to use our playground, fire pit and BBQ area. In the village are horse, cows, et cetera.
