We offer one vacation home and a holiday house in Rathmannsdorf near Bad Schandau in Saxon Switzerland, lain in a calmer but nevertheless central situation.
Purchase possibilities such as butchers, bakers, purchase market (Penny and Lidl) and a restaurant are reachable within few minutes walking. A good connection to the public transportation system with bus, train and the piers ensure fast travelling.
The border to Czech Republic is only 10 km away. Due to the rapid-transit railway station in Bad Schandau you can also easily visit the art city Dresden.

You find our vacation home in a calm, sunny location right Bad Schandau. Ideal starting point for many hikes into Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland. On 50 square meters we offer 2 bedrooms, living room with open kitchen, shower and WC to you. Towels and bedlinen are available. A garden seat and playing equipments for children can be used.

A relaxing holiday in Saxon Switzerland, welcome to the family-run guesthouse in a quiet Zaukental (OL Rathmannsdorf) directly on the forest and yet centrally located, 10 min. to the market place as Schandau, wharf and public. Transportation & shopping. An ideal starting point for hikes. From our 3-Star Hotel the Elbe river and the cure promenade can be reached within just 10 minutes by foot. The hotel has 20 double and 1 single rooms with altogether 39 beds. We offer comfortably equipped atmosphere with genuine wood furniture and shower, toilet, telephone, radio, TV and Internet connection (Internet not available in every room).
Please have a seat in our restaurant (70 seats) or in our hunting style decorated winter garden with a wonderful view on the Elbe river. Or enjoy a traditional wine from Meißen or a relaxing beer on our beautiful large sun terrace (60 seats).

Our quiet apartment is located in an idyllic setting with a boating pond and offers ideal conditions for a relaxed holiday in the Saxon Switzerland National Park. Trips to the Kirnitzschtal valley, the Lichtenhainer waterfall or to the Kuhstall rock arc, just to name a few options, are all highly recommended. Furthermore a trip to the capital city Dresden is also a nice alternative. Nevertheless here you can relax in a “play barn” with table tennis and a swimming pool. Our village has three restaurants, of which one even has with a bowling alley.
