Our house is an in calm location at the forest and offers a unique view on the rock world of Saxon Switzerland. Friendly furnished rooms in the cosy ambience await you for a recreative vacation. Our rooms have shower/WC/TV, partly balcony and the apartment roof terrace. Approx. only 8 minutes walking to the Elbe wheer are the piers and rapid-transit railway connection. The art city Dresden can be reached in 35 minutes and the health resort Bad Schandau just after two stops. Bohemian Switzerland can also be approached comfortably with this railway line.

Surrounded by nature, Apartmenthaus Saxonia is set in a beautiful historic building just 400 m from the center of Bad Schandau. It a spacious terrace and free wired internet. Situated in its own forest park on a light hill in the air health resort Gohrisch the atmosphere is calm and recreative. Königstein and Bad Schandau are both only 3km away. The next larger places are Pirna and Dresden. Use the advantages of Saxon Switzerland with its wonderful look-outs, over 1200 km signposted hiking trails and over 120 sights of baroque which can be seen on a steamboat trip. Or you follow the traces of historical Dresden with its rebuild Church of Our Lady, or get inspired by visiting a performance in the Semper opera or one of the many attractive museums. Of course the modern Dresden is really quite worth a visit as well.

Conveniently situated in the rock area of the Ochelwände, the Ochelbaude offers a simple overnight accomodation - ideal for students, associations, nature friends - with group meetings, in particular for class trips and holidays spare time. Guests have been lodging in our Lindenhof hotel in Bad Schandau for more than one hundred years. In 1832, Prince Johann of Saxony visited our hotel for several days.
Ever since the hotel kept its hospitably tradition. Upon arriving you will be delighted by the charm of our familial hotel. All of the 41 rooms - 6 single rooms, 18 double rooms, 9 mansards, 8 superior doublerooms - are arranged in the best of taste and very comfortable.
The in room amenities include a shower, WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, direct dial telephone and a mini-bar. Some double rooms and superior double rooms have got a balcony with a view at the park. On request extra beds are also possible in superior double roms. There is an elevator to every floor.
