In Saxon Switzerland the hotel Albrechtshof is a good choice for a well and cheap vacation, celebrating or recovering in the calm nature. Very well suited for groups of all kinds. Situated in its own forest park on a light hill in the air health resort Gohrisch the atmosphere is calm and recreative. Königstein and Bad Schandau are both only 3km away. The next larger places are Pirna and Dresden. Use the advantages of Saxon Switzerland with its wonderful look-outs, over 1200 km signposted hiking trails and over 120 sights of baroque which can be seen on a steamboat trip. Or you follow the traces of historical Dresden with its rebuild Church of Our Lady, or get inspired by visiting a performance in the Semper opera or one of the many attractive museums. Of course the modern Dresden is really quite worth a visit as well.

Schandau zu erreichen. Hauptattraktion ist die Bootsfahrt durch die wildromantische Kirnitzschklamm, eine romantische Kahnpartie direkt auf der Grenze zu Böhmen. Doch Finden sich hier auch Wanderwege, auf denen man stundenlang keinem Menschen begegnet, und für Kenner traditionellen Kunsthandwerks ein Geheimtip - eine Töpferei mit holzgefeuertem Steinzeugofen.
Wandern können Sie natürlich auch: Allein, mit der Nationalparkwacht, oder dem Drahtesel - und selbstverständlich auch ohne Gepäck. Die Wanderwege sind gut ausgeschildert und bieten vom Spazierweg bis zum anspruchsvollem Klettersteig etwas für jeden Anspruch. From here you may like to enjoy the beautyful view over fortress Königstein and the rock needle of mountain Pfaffenstein. You also can hike both from our place.
The village Pfaffendorf and its surroundings are excellent for lovely walks and great hikes. It is also a good starting point for trips to Dresden, Stolpen or The Tschech Republik.
We rent out the apartment all year through for at least 3 nights.
