Haus aus können Sie in die Kirnitzschtalbahn einsteigen und die wunderschöne Landschaft erkunden. In der Nähe befindet sich eine Gaststätte sowie ein Kiosk für kleinere Einkäufe.

Es führt von Bad Schandau flussaufwärts bis nach Hinterhermsdorf und ins Böhmische, wo die Kirnitzsch entspringt.
Bei uns im Forsthaus sind Sie mittendrin und können direkt vom Hotel aus zu Wanderungen in alle Himmelsrichtungen starten. Der berühmte Malerweg gehört dazu. Mit Wanderbus und Kirnitzschtalbahn, die direkt am Haus halten, gelangen Sie zu vielen weiteren Ausflugszielen und natürlich ins nahe Bad Schandau (ca. 4 km) mit Anschluss an Schiff und Bahn und zu allen anderen Highlights der Region. Ihrem Auto könnten Sie also getrost auch etwas „Urlaub“ gönnen.

On request we can provide you with a second bedroom. Ideal for organizing a family holiday including excellent hiking opportunities and trips to bigger cities, such as Dresden, Meissen and Prague, which all can be easily reached by car, tram or boat. On 50 square meters we offer 2 bedrooms, living room with open kitchen, shower and WC to you. Towels and bedlinen are available. A garden seat and playing equipments for children can be used.

In Kürze erreichen Sie die Bastei, Festung Königstein, Burg Hohnstein und Stolpen, den Kurort Rathen, Stadt Wehlen, Bad Schandau an der Elbe. Wir haben reichlich Prospektmaterial ausliegen und beraten Sie gerne bei Ihren Ausflügen. Welcome to the village Waltersdorf, a borough of the town Bad Schandau. Waltersdorf is located beautifully in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, also known as the Saxon Switzerland.The most popular table mountain of Saxon Switzerland, the Lilienstein, is in close proximity. Likewise alot of other attractions worth visiting are the famous lookout-point Bastei, the health resort Rathen, the Gamrig mountain, the Polenztal valley and of course the town Bad Schandau. For climbing and hiking tours, our house is an ideal starting point.
